01/5/2020 15:20 | By offering even less than the bid price? LOL, all they're doing is attempting to stop the price falling by putting in blockers. Nothing to do with takeover unless you think supporting a higher price does that. | lowtrawler
01/5/2020 15:14 | They wanna buy before the bid 🤣☺A | phattrader1
01/5/2020 15:11 | Eh? How does that make a take over? | greenelf
01/5/2020 15:05 | Citi MM’s on the Bid below 25p, 300k. Takeover incoming imo. | phattrader1
01/5/2020 14:43 | Agreed LT which is why I will sell half at 40p unless its eclipsed by a spike... | rougepierre
01/5/2020 14:34 | Thanks Nas_daq. I believe you are forming a view from an outlier in the share price of 10/12p. In reality, the price was stable in the high teens prior to CV and so I believe you need to assess why it went up roughly 50% and not 150%.You have identified a lot of the key events but the 2 main drivers were interest shown in the offtake arrangements with £150m development funding and a statement that longer term conditional financing was close. We should get details on the former next week. In my view, that alone is sufficient to have justified the rise. You may be proven correct and that the longer term conditional financing is not announced anytime soon. However, the £150m has bought them time to get that sorted. If they do sort out the longer term financing, I think we will rise further. There are a lot of risks investing in SOLG and so I only risk what I would be willing to lose. At the moment, the potential rewards still outweigh the risks. As I have posted many times, as you head into 40p plus, that may no longer be the case. | lowtrawler
01/5/2020 14:31 | mknight, where has this liquidity come from? Not long ago the REPO market froze for want of liquidity. Is this the bunce from the FED buying up all and any toxic junk? It seems that those in high places are behaving as if it will be business as usual before too long? | lefrene
01/5/2020 14:28 | Picked up an epically apt post by Nasdaq the other day... " let’s hope he crawls out from under his rock again later today to be mocked......." Apply to self... ATB! | rougepierre
01/5/2020 14:25 | Newcrest raised a billion , THe fed are funding small large and medium size companies . Paying companies to keep people employed . Trump foing to hit China for the costs of the virus by putting taxes on their goods . They will create jobs rather than buy the goods from China . Might affext apple but the bigger picture is lets rebuild . | mknight
01/5/2020 14:24 | I doubt it very much | nas_daq

01/5/2020 14:18 | Lefrene it was over subscibed could have raised 70 billion . Because the market is awash with liquidity. Solgold will have their funding next week. NM is with Ludlin and the mining minister on Wednesday ..think about it . | mknight
01/5/2020 14:13 | Fascinating that Boeing raised $25 billion on a bond issue. A company that makes products that drop out of the sky killing many people because they knowingly skimp on the product, and in a business segment that currently looks like it is going to struggle for several years for lack of demand and bankruptcies. All about allocation of capital I suppose, or major shareholders having to throw good money after bad in the hope of not seeing the company fail? Makes the $ 2.8 billion needed to get Solg going look small potatoes. | lefrene |
