30/4/2020 11:09 | RP You're right. But punters never put value on a prospect until there is funding to drill it. | dozyduck
30/4/2020 11:03 | Hi LOw Just teasing really around the point that we are only as good as our predisposition driven assumptions. I was tempted to produce the results of my extensive Cost Benefit Analysis which shows that in ten years the company will owe the Ecuadorian people 2 billion dollars but decided against it as some of my assumptions were questionable and some of my suspicions unfounded. | arcadian
30/4/2020 10:56 | Potential is the word rougepierre . Until the rigs have proven whats in the ground its just that 😕 | mknight
30/4/2020 10:56 | Rp, of course. The market currently has those prospects thrown in at virtually no value. Investors need to form a personal view of what they may be worth. | lowtrawler
30/4/2020 10:54 | I would agree rougepierre, but it's Alpalla that's the key to provide the wealth to unlock the rest of the treasure trove, hence the focus on Alpallala as the rest would seem to be a long way from being proved up and costed. | lefrene
30/4/2020 10:49 | Aren't we missing the fact that the valuation should take account of more than Alpala...we have over 70 prospects, including one that NM has described as potentially bigger than Alpala... | rougepierre
30/4/2020 10:47 | Ntbb .. I think your a good guy you are not going on my filter list . | mknight
30/4/2020 10:45 | Hi Arcadian. Anyone investing in SOLG would be well advised to apply their own view of future metal prices in coming to a valuation. In the same way as using current spot prices is invalid, relying on the PEA prices is equally wrong. | lowtrawler
30/4/2020 10:42 | Thanks alot for that low, sometimes just having a little fun with share price prediction, anyway il leave it at that and we will.see where the share price is next week, | ntbb
30/4/2020 10:31 | Commodities are real, a debauched dollar is going to sink against real things. The assets in Solg have an intrinsic value, and as such I would think make an attractive home for somebody looking to convert a truck load of paper into something real. | lefrene
30/4/2020 10:26 | Mm,s playing games . The only way is to keep buying . Lets see how long they can hold this back . I thought it was illegal to pull trades . Is it not market manipulation ? Just taken a picture, if they are pulled will send to Sec . | mknight
30/4/2020 10:14 | Nas daq From what i understand ( very little ) should we get rid of the CV then Gold and copper look as if they will push up past the PEA numbers . Bank of America is expecting 3000 dollars an Oz for Gold In the next 18 months and most experts believe Copper will rise to over 3.30Lb as chilean mines are starting to slow down in production . DD knows his stuff so we know 40p is not a crazy number .. if Gold goes to 2500 and copper to back to 3.30 then the numbers will look like 60p . So all in all the stock will be 40p next week if we have funding at a reasonable price . | mknight
30/4/2020 10:08 | So Newcrest just paid $460m for 1.9m ounces over 13 years. 242$ per ounce.... Once we get to Q1 2020 with reserves of gold amounting to 23m ounces.... We will be worth ——— Plus copper which is 70% of Alpala!!!!! But we won’t get there.. | phattrader1
30/4/2020 10:08 | Low DD and Phat Is it possible that the discounting of future returns used by some to yield "No Present Value" could be outweighed by the effect of fiat currency inflation such that they are rendered invalid by the rising world prices of copper and gold? | arcadian
30/4/2020 10:01 | mknightIt is all about risk v rewardIve risked large sums of money( for me) for huge rewards and I get seeing a portfolio go up, or down, 6 figures on a daily basis is very exciting.......when it goes the right way however I suspect George Soros would not get excited by those kinds of movements so it's all relative. For massive reward you have to take huge risks imo and thats all I am saying.I dont think NM will find it easy to raise the funding and I am not so sure in this environment currently there will be a bidding war no matter what posters on here write..... | nas_daq
30/4/2020 09:59 | From Info Hofmaier: Various pieces of good news out of Ecuador overnight. The National Emergency Operations Committee in Ecuador attempts to restart mining in the country: hxxps://lnkd.in/gjiu Plus Newcrest badly seeking more exposure to Ecuadorian gold riches: Newcrest has acquired the finance facilities of Lundin Gold Ecuador Tier 1 #FrutadelNorte mine for US$460 million. Our investment in the facilities offers additional cash flow exposure to ~1.9moz of gold over the 13-year life of mine. hxxps://www.newcrest | phattrader1
30/4/2020 09:58 | Lowtrawler is getting all uppity! LolI rather have innocent positive burblings than calculated talk down of prospects by some self styled 'experts' here. I don't believe anyone anyway. | greenelf
30/4/2020 09:54 | DD - totally agree the 116p target has a stupid accountability of 80% of NPV. Not realistic. But what is realistic is once feasibility is done in Q3 we should be around 50-60p and then DFS/BFS in Q1 2021 we should be around 50% of NPV with funding sorted. Our value will carry on rising once funding sorted as it means we can start exploring the other prospects. Hence I believe the takeover will be pretty sharpish at 60-90p within 3 months, or 75-110p between 6-12 months.holding strong, hoping for a 1 month re-rate to 45p in correlation with gold. | phattrader1
30/4/2020 09:49 | Nas daq Everybody wants to earn money so yes you Are correct . Just put a few trades on well down just in case the mm,s want to drop it . Saves all the running about trying to buy it on the way up again suggest others do the same just in case . | mknight
30/4/2020 09:36 | Lol....posters on here dont have an agendaI think youll find everyone on here has an agenda just some of us are not trying to line their own pockets..... | nas_daq
30/4/2020 09:35 | Ntbb, I always try to avoid filtering as I like a varied debate but you are an idiot. Quoting a sales figure as a valuation proves it. Other comments like yesterday's "we're opening at 50p" and the constant ramping without any reason have lost you all credibility. You come across as very inexperienced. Unfortunately, you are now only the 2nd person I have filtered. | lowtrawler
30/4/2020 09:34 | DD . Agree with you 100% | mknight
30/4/2020 09:33 | An interesting question . I think i will leave it at that . | mknight
30/4/2020 09:32 | Phat ! I think the lesson from SXX relates to its reliance on a dodgy share valuation based on simplistic use of NPVs It was a keystone in the whole funding package as the vital equity component. Failing that, so failed all the other components. Re my 110p 'gross' value for NPV per share I see one broker has that as his 'target'. But he fails to make the major adjustments as I have to get to reality. mknight - you're probably right that the shares will outrun true value (irrational exuberance and all that) But its good to know it when you see it happening, because the institutions usually impose it (at a discount) at some stage. | dozyduck
30/4/2020 09:29 | Hey guys, I feel that this share has so much potential, but because of the amount of day traders out there the price can be volatile (like this morning). It almost puts me off using a stop loss because i don't want to be out of the trade. Do any of you guys use a Stop Loss? | pparekh20 |
