On a serious note I think we are all suffering from cabin fever.
Think of the thousands truly stuck in their cabins on cruise ships.Horrendous.
We don't seem to be as good humoured as usual.
Majority of us here for the long haul.
Stay safe. Stay home.Stay offline and have a day off.

Hi guys I'm in with 60k around 22p and still think it will rise next week. On another topic I'm looking at a share and in brackets it says pk. Any idea what that means . And while I'm trying to pick peoples minds I have shares in another company that have been delisted . But the price keeps going up and down . How do I trade these shares? Thanks guys

It does beg the question when people who "only invest in funds" haunt this board daily. Very odd.

mkn ! I thought you were beginning to talk some sense. But "funding from governments printing money" ??? That's what makes bankers and institutions with 'real' money (being sought by eg Solg to fund 'real' work) take to their bunkers. I think you'll find miners beginning to whinge soon about 'funding drying up'.

I’m going away from the screen for the day.

Unless we hit 22p or 30p. Alerts set.

Have a good weekend all - news isn’t long. Ingo isn’t on LinkedIn today so they must be finalising agreements / actually working 🤣

RP. I was talking about the metals prices assumed in the PEA !
As for brokers' analysts - yes many of them ae stupid. Fund managers take no notice of their price forecasts. They are merely 'industry' specialists with no expertise in finance or share valuation. I know. I was one for many years, followed by fund management.
They follow each other - haven't you noticed ? And haven't you noticed their wide spreads ? Figure it out.
And PEA's are ALWAYS prepared by independent consultants.
Want to know anything else ?

Shut up nasdaq.

If you don't hold, why are you here?

Just to make us miserable?

That's called trolling in my book...

The sell off today has not been a surprise after yesterday .

Now its who believes the funding will come and who thinks it wont .

I believe it will come on Tuesday with the market going up in line with what will it cost . Funding is out there you only have to see that every country that can is printing money .

Tuesday will be the day . Monday we are closed .

DD. I'm not talking about the Broker Forecasts being independently verified!

Do you think I'm that stupid?

From the RNS on 29 June 2019

"The PEA dated June 7, 2019, with an Effective Date of March 25, 2019 and titled "Cascabel Project, Northern Ecuador, Alpala Copper-Gold-Silver Deposit, Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA)" was prepared by INDEPENDENT CONSULTANTS Wood plc in the role of Lead Consultants..."

But are you also saying that a dozen analysts are stupid with the lowest target being 70p...?

My guess the dead cat bounce has been due to the FED declaring it will buy anything and everything, hence a lot of toxic junk will have been jettisoned perhaps creating the relief rally. Now reality is reasserting itself as defaults in the real world start to become apparent. Gold dropping might just be those in need of cash, perhaps aided by agents of the FED trying to keep a lid on it? It is also the first day of the month, are players dusting off their positions?

I should also add that, equally irrationally, the rest of the market has suddenly realised there are long term economic consequences to CV which means they shouldn't have recovered to only a few percentage points below their all time high. Go figure. This is why investment managers earn the big money.....

Gold is tanking because of an irrational belief that CV is cured and the world will rapidly return to normal with no hangover caused by the huge QE. I want some of whatever they're on.

mknightYou can take the info, from lse, with a pinch of salt.Posts yesterday were saying that institutions held 97 percent of shares. No chance this is close to being accurate with holdings in nominee accounts.....Sold has had a great rise over the past few weeks but with no funding news was always going to drop back.NM needs funds and no one knows where those funds are coming from......yetNo one will ever convince me that raising funds in this climate will be easier than in the last 12 months and from what I see NM has been playing a game of poker with cornerstone to see who will blink first over funding.....havent seen anyone blink yet
