Noccer, yes being kept in the dark is wearing shareholders down, it doesn't help much to rationalise that there must be a good reason for the news blackout. But eventually something will give, and perhaps by then the price of copper will be heading North again!

Yes. Lefrene, I think a CEO to CEO personality clash exists with CGP, but I don't think its right shareholders should be told we are waiting for a french tranlator - for a year. I thought Aussies told them like it was, here's the offer, say yes or go forth. It has never been offered, not formally anyway. I think the large pause is due to discussions with majors, but they are surely in no rush in an uncertain world. Heck I wish they would get on with it. At some stage the Ecuadorian government will ask "Why is this stalled", "Doesn't this delay our revenue stream?"

Virus aside NM couldn’t have played this worse. Been greedy from day one, trying to always get a better deal and strong things out. Not seeming to realise that real world events massively change how he can play this.

From a purely logical and reason basis the current problems shouldn't affect us as we are years away from production. By the time we are producing, if we ever are, today's problems will be history.A very good example of how stock markets don't differentiate when they are in panic mode but then are they ever logical?

Brilliant call from FSAWatcher last week, you muppets owe him an apology.

"i thought the forum was for all posters pro and negative

i understand why as a holder you might be very cross with negative posters but really you can learn alot if you listen to all quarters of the debate

I will not post again until 13p arrives

ok?

See you next week then"

ironically cheaper oil makes extraction cheaper, although not that it matters here just yet. An 'event' has been needed for sometime to cover up the latest hidden banking crisis, well very conveniently and right on cue we have an 'event' that is being milked for all that it's worth. At base it's real assets that count, just so long as you don't have unmanageable debts which puts you at risk of being looted by your creditors.

No problem MK. I genuinely believe you will make a good return. However, I think there is reasonable prospects that the price has further to fall.

I'd be worried about the sanity of any director buying in the current market. The principle works fine when the price falls are isolated to the company in question. They become an irrelevance when the whole market is tumbling.

Falling knife MK. As you already have a sizeable holding, it may be more sensible to wait for the virus panic to subside and then buy in. None of us currently know when the market will bottom.

10p today I think.

This will get ugly.

Could be another black Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday event on the record books.

No income and needs a couple of billion to get going.

Not going to get a couple of thousand in this market !!!!!!
