What is your aim here? Seemingly talking it down, what's the point of your agenda? If you don't hold what is your interest.

Mark... Warren Irwin bailing out of Cornerstone. That tells you all you need to know about the chances of Cascabel funding.

markth126, I see this virus hiatus as highly 'convenient' considering that a general recession was looming. The virus provides a wonderful excuse for interest rate cuts and yet more QE, and buys another year or two as the masters of the universe acquire yet more assets. At some point there has to be a 're-set', but that ugly appointment must not be allowed to happen this side of the November election. I'm hoping/expecting this to be good for gold prices, as confidence in fiat currency declines. I notice Kazakhstan is buying 60 tons of gold this year.

Just to confirm. World is not ending, most will survive. However this virus is targeting Brexit and Trump voters. The old and ignorant will go first.

Last RNS was a presentation, which had not changed much since the last one. How the hell could that be considered news. If NM had any positive news at all you would be seeing it already. The company will be in hibernation soon, it is running out money and needs help. Directors have run this into the ground, drilling has been suspended. Fund managers are bailing out while they can. All my opinion.

MKnight - the top value of Alpala 'in the ground' has already been set by the PEA. It's the post tax NPV -(or, after spending around $2.6bn, it will from then on be around $6.5bn. (Depending on prices, etc, and the discount rate)
Your $110bn is nonsense, taking no account of all the extraction costs and the 55 years it will take. Even then, NPV based 'values' are never remotely approached in take-over or share prices. Sorry !

Kind of you to say so yufff, but of course it's all a guess, and logic and stock markets are frequently strange bedfellows.

Once Cornerstone is sorted (I notice NM in that video repeating the Cornerstone mantra), then the MR3 will appear and a finance deal will quickly be in place. At that point Alpala is a goer and thus much more valuable than it is now. Naturally NM will hold his cards to his chest, but it would seem most sensible to sell Alpala so that they can get on with some of the other 72 prospects. I should think the major shareholders will persuade NM of the right choice.

This virus scare will last as long as it suits the narrative of Wall St, ie an unfortunate recession bought on by a global virus, but don't worry Mr Trump will work his magic again, and America will very soon be great again! In the meantime gold will rise as nation States become even more nervous about confetti money and demand physical gold to stock pile.

An industrial recession might push some of the marginal copper miners out of business, and finally the much advertised but unseen shortage of copper will arrive. Then the surge in prices will generate a scramble for fresh sources. It'll take a while to play out, but I believe the end game has started.

I am human and can be wrong ,it certainly would not be the first time .

However i see the value of 110 billion in the ground with approx 4 billion to get it out plus all the other sites and cant help think at 300 million we seem somewhat undervalued .

Will buy my last last purchases next week and sit and wait .

Anyone notice the guy from cornerstone offloaded a rather large amount ? Could be nothing or maybe he feels Cornerstone will be sold to solgold and his friend NM Will still want to take it to production which he was always dead against .

Mather still receiving his large salary throughout all his bad decision making .

I really think 10p is on the cards as plenty of sellers and risk averse investors would not touch these with a barge pole.

Well I'm sitting with a million of these and I'm keeping them and see what happens. All paid and don't get these guys on leverage. They must have some sleepless nights. Painful at the minute but what goes down must go up! Surely....::!

Mk I’ve watched that presentation and it is a compelling case he puts forward. However, I feel until these virus numbers start to see a decrease I think the market is going to remain risk adverse and most shares will see a further decline in value. I’ve followed your comments for over six months now I really hope your faith is repaid in the coming months. I’m sure it will be but I’m going to gamble and wait a few days before jumping into SOLG.

Nick Mather comprehensively presenting at Red Cloud Pre-PDAC Mining Showcase February 28, Solgold $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador. Remote for several weeks so no commentary from me but still invested and focusing on the message (and this 30 min presentation does offer a hugely positive investment thesis - his comments on finance interesperced throughout are particularly interesting...) rather than the market/market cap. I cannot wait 55 years but certainly longer than imminent....

My SIPP was cash up until last week, I was waiting for a correction anyway. I am 3% down and expect things to get worse. But I am buying on 5% dips of the indices, and selling each time I can make a few %. I hope the volatility continues and am setting myself up for a 30% - 40% drop from here if it happens.
