I believe we have tried to put a value on Alpala before, although I trust that more metal has been found ands that more has gone from 'inferred' to 'indicated'.

Looking at past bids for discoveries it seems depending upon attributes of location that prices vary from 2% of gross metal value upwards, but I don't recall seeing one of more than 5%. Given the very positive attributes of Alpala perhaps 3% or 3.5% might be achieved? But % of what? $3 billion or $5 billion? But whatever it is, it has to be a lot more than the current miserly market cap, and that would still leave 70 other rich prospects.

If it indeed looks this way it could start a bidding war which would be nice.

Being reported $300bln is going to be spent on EVs by the car manufactures 2020 through to 2022.

At some point during the 2020s the sale of EVs are going to explode.

The problem at the moment is the young have what is called "Range Anxiety." There doesn't need to be as most EVs now have 300 miles plus of range, therefore for most people they just need to charge their EVs at home or at work just like charging your mobile phone and therefore there is no real need for there to be an extensive network of public charging points.

Selling off Alpala to fund further exploration is probably the preferred option.
After all exploration is what company does best rather than going into production.
You know what I always say good time to top up.
Been languishing far too long @ this level.

What kind of price for Alpala and what would that equate to for SOLG shareholders? Any sensible thoughts

It looks like BHP will buy Alpala and we will continue exploration on the other 72 sites.

Historically copper follows gold after a 3 to 6 month lull. The much advertised impending shortage of copper has yet to appear, but after the virus hiatus in China, we might see copper recover as China cranks up again to fill the global gap in supply chains.

Yes its a hedge against copper at the moment . Gold up 22 percent copper down from our PEA 3.30 about 22 percent .

We really need a little more detail on Blanca y nieve.
