LF, the rainforest action group are the main campaign against mining in Ecuador. Don't think CGP are doing anything untoward but following last month's court ruling which puts licenses in the hands of local communities, they are attempting to enforce the new law.

Not sure of the accuracy of this but this is being reported of interest to Cornerstone:

"...On October 19th, the Court will be examining evidence concerning whether or not mining should be allowable within Los Cedros"

"...Meanwhile mining company Cornerstone Capital Resources continues to explore within the Reserve, without the appropriate permits, despite overwhelming opposition in the region, and in direct contravention of Protective Measures granted by the Provincial Court of Imbabura in June 2019."

An extention at best imho .The Cornerstone share price in the last week never acted as if a deal was on .

An extention would indicate Nm fancies the share price to go higher .

It would seem that the book is improving although we do have an iceberg 22500 at 38p . Should that move on we might get a good finish

The EITI Board has approved Ecuador’s application to join the EITI, making it the 55th implementing country and the 11th in Latin America.

“EITI implementation can underpin the modernisation of Ecuador’s regulatory framework in the extractive sector, and help ensure that the development potential of extractive revenues is realised,” said EITI Board Chair Helen Clark. “We welcome Ecuador as an implementing country and look forward to the EITI promoting transparency, accountability, and debate around the management of the country’s natural resource wealth.”

I don't recall seeing this interview with Nick Mather done by a German research house earlier in the year. It is worth reading in light of the porvenir discovery and they comment on that with today's conclusion also below. Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L #porvenir #cascabel #ecuador $CGP

The reason why it is not right to say is because I am NOT a qualified geologist that has 25 years under my belt and held big positions in any major mining co eg Dr Rohlach or Dr Steve Garwin. Therefore, to say would be in the region of speculation and could be what is termed as "misleading" as it could be wrong.

Even Nick Mather, CEO of Solgold has to "await the assay results" officially.

I only mentioned it in case anyone wanted to look and see what the Provenir drilling cores looked like given there are a lot of cores in the Solgold Oct 2020 Presentation just out at www.solgold.com.au The Alpala drill cores are also available to see at the Solgold Presentation of Sep 2020. So, I mentioned it so that everyone can just take a look until we receive the OFFICIAL ASSAY/S VIA SOLGOLD RNS.
