No problem and all the best.Looks like a bit of a sell off with Tech stocks, it did get a bit ahead of itself in the summer (as did a lot of shares) and now it looks like it's overdone on the downside so contemplating averaging up.

The trade at 16:35 is the uncrossed trade that happens at the end of play every day and sets the closing price. It's not a real trade.

Been watching this share for a bit. There is a trade every day at 16.35 and depending on whether it is a buy or sell it normally goes in that direction the next day - weird.Also the company were not as positive on trading in their last statement so it has drifted down.

Looks to me like there's some rotation from growth into value stocks again and this is getting hit.

Doesn't look like it.Don't know why they bother with quarter updates they never provide any figures and words can easily be misinterpreted-'We've a lot still to do in the next nine months...'Last Q1:'Performed well.........but we are mindful there is still a long way to go'It fell for a couple of weeks after until early Dec, but there was a lot more going on then with Covid.

100% right - look at ratings PE gap between US market and LSE.
In US market softcat would be way more expensive, it’s a quality growth company

They've beat broker forecasts and the consensus was for similar earnings next FY (47.5p eps) so their likely to beat that too given they made 48.4p eps.Seems like sell the news and particularly if the news doesn't include a beat expectations forecast......crazy market at the moment.

Always seems to be a ridiculous reaction to results here. Will recover in the next few days/weeks.
