Great company in a sector that is in high demand. Huge growth to cloud (see Microsoft results). Am a customer of theirs and work in the industry so this is a clear winner for me.

Great trading update and fabulous that they are going to pay the dividend that was due earlier this year plus the dividend due at the end of the year.
Expecting a good rise in the share price today.

Rise in Government spending

Berenberg's estimates say that Softcat holds around 3% market share so leaving signification room to expand.

What is there not to like about this share!

From today's Shares mag:'Peel Hunt also suggests IT reseller Softcat (SCT) couldcome out of the crisis in a much stronger position. It comments: 'With a well-diversified revenue split, including over a third coming from government IT spend and a large portion aligned to work-from-home tech vendors such as Microsoft and Cisco, structurally Softcat is better placed than most to navigate the potential headwinds to UK tech spending. This will see it being gifted a larger market share as recovery kicks in.'
