Profit taking. Like someone said, it's overvalued against CCC and growth will inevitably slow after an 'exceptional' year.

Only added 4.7% customers. The beat was in the price, I guess the market doesn't like the slow down in customer growth.

Another superb set of results with upgraded eps comfortably beaten, 73m cash & a 24p final / special dividend. “Our long-term strategy of growth through sustained investment means we remain well-positioned to keep pace with the accelerating needs of customers.”

Excellent results. Looking forward to £9 per share. Growing dividend is also very pleasing

johnthespacer, maybe you should put a call in to find out what happened to your quote. While you’re at it, you might want to review your spelling and punctuation. This isn’t Yelp. No one needs your asinine review.

Recently taken a position in SCT. However, just looked at Computacentre CCC which has a similar mkt cap of around £1.4bn but 4 times the revenue and an established EU footprint. I appreciate that SCT has been growing much faster than CCC and has probably better financial ratios etc but CCC is on a much lower rating and shares similarly attractive fundamentals. Please could someone tell me why I should prefer SCT to CCC. How different are they? Or should I buy both?? Grateful for any comments!

ojh2kent - Really when you look at it, it is all about time frames. If you had bought this time last year you would have got in for £4....even after the fall you are looking at £7. That's a 75% return on your investment in a year. Best paying deposit rates are max 2%. Everything is relative. The market is risk-off at the moment, everything is down, the board need to make no statement, just continue doing what they do best, run the company well. It's difficult but shares do not go up all the time.

Results on the 17th. Assuming, and it is a very big assumption, that the markets have calmed down in general, the current price could appear to have been a bargain this time next week..

It’s definitely the wider market & in no way specific to SCT. Just look around the BBs - high growth / highly rated companies getting hammered across the board, regardless of how well they are trading.

Tough market at the moment & hard to believe they recently said: “Market conditions have been very favourable and growth against prior year has accelerated. As a result, the Board now expects that full year 2018 adjusted operating profit will be materially ahead of its prior expectations.”

bam, mine just triggered at 725 (only the ones I topped up on). gorilla, I truly believe in these so I've made sure my others don't get stopped out. Roll on next week, but without a general change in market sentiment it won't move much in the short term. I've had some great results out in the last few days and they've not gone anywhere. Tough few days that's all

Tricky/21/Bam - Bear in mind chaps why you bought the company in the first place. If you have anything other than a longer time frame (not weeks), you should be ok. This is where the real money is made.

I also added yesterday but it's in free fall just like everything else. Looking at the FTSE in general we may bottom out now but it has still got potential to fall a bit further. Could do with a bloody rally quickly before I'm skint :-)

Agree, this isn't specific to SCT. The whole market is falling - lost loads this last week. Need to top up where you can I think

Added some more ahead of next week’s FY results. Fall seems way overdone in view of July’s trading update.
