2018 Outlook

We benefited from exceptional market conditions in 2018. Despite current political and economic uncertainty, and notwithstanding tough comparative figures, we are confident of achieving further profitable growth in 2019. Trading in the first ten weeks of the new financial year has been encouraging.

Softcat is in great health and strategically well-positioned. We think the structural drivers for growth in our industry will continue despite current political and economic uncertainty. The Board also remains confident in the Company's ability to gain market share and targets further growth during 2020. Trading in the first eleven weeks of the new financial year has been on track and we look forward to the rest of the year with confidence.

Cannot see to much difference between the two outlook statements.

Sorry two years, this fired off before i could check spelling A lot of business has been because other companies have gone bust and they have moved more tin. Also cloud is slowing down and people want to move back into having their own servers. That's 33,000 feet view This can't go on forever but I see a two year play here of buying the dip but all good things will eventually come to an end and enjoy the ride

This is a great share to trade as to date its always hit new highs. The accounting issue is window dressing and the margin and profit are not effected and I see one maybe twin lee years of growth before stagnation Shares normally take a few days to respond after results and think this might fall a bit more but confident it will

Hi trident, fwiw I can see what tech5 is on about, but it is not really a very 'clear' H&S.

I have calculated that a topping pattern would be confirmed with an eod close below 907.5 and an initial tp of 840-845

The market has absorbed a significant sale (1.02% of the issue) with relatively little difficulty - i.e. little damage to the share price
Given the size of the private holding and the elevation of the share price in recent times, I would reasonably expect that it is quite likely a prudent rebalancing of a portfolio rather than an indication of any lack of confidence.

It will be interesting to see how a possible test of the 1000p support zone progresses.

Not sure it’s going under 9 as trading ahead of expectations announcement again this morning. Should hopefully push through 10 now. My best investment by far as I’ve held since IPO.

I’ve lost track of the number of ahead announcements now! Whilst I think it’s great I do worry that the market will severely mark down the share price with the next in line with expectations announcement as beat seems to be always expected now.

Think we will see this go under 9 soon as equities come under pressure Interesting that people are withdrawing money out of Deutsche bank every daySort of reminds me of Northern Rock plus we have far too many new houses being builtBasic economics supply and demand prices will fall and not because of Brexit
