An interesting comment from the DPR...(A possibility exists that Ororo is still on the table and being negotiated by the DPR)

'...the litigation is on whether or not the Petroleum Act provided for revocation. Yes, indeed, there is provision for revocation. So, this particular marginal fields that we are running is out of litigation. We do not have any encumbrances from any of the 57 because the 11 that are in court are even discussing with us to go out of court. They are seeking to see how government will reconsider them based on the work they have done before. We are assessing the work and looking at the possibility, (if they come out of court), whether government will consider re-awarding to them..'

personal comment...

I thought it was very unfair that those connected or had PSC's in place with NNPC associated companies were allowed a third Field Licence extension...whereas srsp (and others without this connection) were not.

Aventador.

I appreciate you un-filtering me for what must be the 12th time.

I actually have what I consider to be a very large sum tied up in SRSP. However they didn't take it from me - I invested in them so I could potentially make a lot more back. Risk vs reward and all that.

There's a big difference!

You play the VICTIM !

Yet I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for the outcome of investing in this company be it good or bad.

I've totally had enough of your constant negativity and victim mentality.

I'm sure your next post will be you're filtering me again (13th time)... I guess it's the one thing you are good at.

Srsp pros:- New deals funding and further deals allegedly to be announced. Relist promised this year.
Srsp cons :- Nothing they have stated has materialised at great cost to all of us. I do genuinely have hope we could see a return here this year finally all said.

Aventador, you're nobody's idea of fun.

Before you can appreciate the good things in life, there is always some form of struggle, uncertainty and discomfort.

You have proven beyond a doubt you're a weak, boring fool and nobody I'd want around me when times are hard. A wet weekend and limp lettuce have more backbone than you.

We ALL know this has been a hard investment (no exaggeration), but to have you dripping away like Chinese water torture is just nauseating.

You certainly wont be missed when this relists.

Until we get something 'closer to the mark'...drivel is all you're going to get....and drivel you've got.

ps..'Yes' it's been a long haul..but advisors are actually advocating holding shares for the long term. As Warren Buffet famously said 'If you're not prepared to hold a share for ten years, they you shouldn't hold it for ten minutes.'

Much rather read something that's much closer to the mark than a lot of the drivel you post. Looking forward to the next court case update!

ref futureisbright. Answering queries on this thread is pointless...why expose yourself to ridicule....let them stew in their own ignorance,....then we can have the last laugh. Threads were created for discussion among shareholders...not for the purpose of slagging off fellow posters. ...I have confidence in the bod but can't say the same for some of the posters on this thread...they disappoint me. My advice is...any one with any news….keep it to yourself…..unless you enjoy masochism. Be wary of posters that 'bite the hand that feeds them'...they're dangerous.

Here`s Gobbo spouting off in Nov 2020, with Sirius supposedly listed on LSE at that time. Eyeing up Somalia? Anyone remember the distinctly dodgy Soma O&G?

CornishT...I read the article you posted.. thanks...and found this at the bottom of the page.

“Anyone worried about this ( the possible oncoming tax changes) who has assets held outside tax wrappers should consider transferring them into an ISA or SIPP, where gains are not subject to CGT.”
