23/2/2021 18:05 | We've had 12 years of slackass directorship ffs. | 5cer
23/2/2021 17:51 | If this is a big project I can understand that its shrouded in secrecy and lots of NDA's have been signed. I think we should give the BOD some leeway to do their thing. | qprallan
23/2/2021 17:42 | If Bobo is leading and controlling whatever we are involved in, why does he choose to not update shareholders ? | rod99
23/2/2021 17:30 | ‘Pulling strings’ as in leading and controlling rather than just being a puppet for someone else. | sherl0ck
23/2/2021 17:03 | Top flight investors and sirius in the same sentence, well that was worth chuckle | xerot
23/2/2021 16:48 | Could be a few reasons for the 37 grand, if who ever bought them was not holding any shares before hand they as a shareholder now would be able to participate in any possible upcoming open offer for shares??? Hopefully any open offer would be at a nice discount to any relist price and that would be a good gesture by our bod as a thank you for the years of patient waiting here. Either way the 37 grand buy in is a nice sign hopefully | deadly nightshade
23/2/2021 15:12 | You're right astral, and it really wouldn't have been so very difficult for them to stick out the odd announcement just to keep shareholders updated. They cannot claim "commercial confidentiality" for everything! | vatnabrekk
23/2/2021 14:59 | Whilst I can hear what you are saying, it would have been surely far easier to just let SRSP sink without a trace with no possible returns to shareholders. They could have done that and just carried on with a Sirius mk2, either public or private.Fact is they haven't and it looks like srsp shareholders should get some sort of return. That is a credit to the bod.For clarity I'm definitely not happy with the way they have conducted themselves over the years, the lack of info, updates and everything else from dodgy loans to late reporting to letting the AIM listing go.It's pretty damn awful behaviour and there's no excuse for it. | astralvision
23/2/2021 14:57 | Yes Dr, I've launched many of them. They're called floaters. | 5cer
23/2/2021 14:10 | fingers crossed it's not Sherlock on the other end of those strings ;) | witchywoo
23/2/2021 14:09 | "Contrary to popular opinion, Bobo is absolutely pulling the strings here." Is that something to do with his change in a musical direction ? | qprallan
23/2/2021 13:17 | Assuming there's a reason for Sherl0ck's last post. That anyone would want to be seen to be pulling the strings suggests that there's some kind of success story here. I take that last post as a positive. Bring it on Bobo! | riskybisky
23/2/2021 13:06 | Contrary to popular opinion, Bobo is absolutely pulling the strings here. | sherl0ck
23/2/2021 12:19 | vat...never say never...a current director with a large 'skin in the game' ..having previously paid 5p a share......might be tempted? | htrocka2
23/2/2021 11:07 | Vat good point well presented | captminion
23/2/2021 11:04 | The BoD and others "itk" have had ample opportunity over 12 years to buy up shares on the cheap, surely they don't need to be playing these stupid games any more. | vatnabrekk
23/2/2021 09:44 | Trying to look on the brighter side....had an update been issued, it may have 'rocked the boat' with respect to current share price value...probably unhelpful while issuing further shares. | htrocka2
23/2/2021 09:36 | I don't envisage it is a "top flight" investor, or I'd imagine they would want to hoover up a lot more shares. I think it is someone on the BoD, but I don't think it is done to reassure us, it is done because they see big upside for themselves. I doubt they would pump in almost 40 grand of their own money to reassure small investors in the hope of a big equity raise in the form of a share offer to those holders. They have had no issue raising money before and if that was what they needed I have no doubt they;d be able to sort a placing at a price of 0.3p if needed. Maybe I'm being foolish, but it's a glimmer of hope I'm prepared to hold on to. | willhi02
23/2/2021 09:10 | I think the BOD are trying to reassure us by this spate of small regular buys. Communicating to us look there’s people out there that are prepared to buy these shares @1p so something big must be going on! But be patient your chance will come. But unfortunately IMO it’s not top flight investors who’ve suddenly noticed an golden opportunity it’s the company or it’s associates buying to creat stability and calm the waters. I think it’s more to do with generating interest and laying the foundations for a cash raising event on the back of a possible share offer rather than anything else. Cynical I know and I apologise in advance but I’m the product of multiple letdowns and there is always a reaction to an action and that common denominator as far as this company is concerned is always to raise more capital. | captminion
23/2/2021 06:48 | Yes it is "only" 37k but you have to take interest into why this was done in that way. Someone is looking to buy shares in the company, and 37k in a suspended firm seems like a massive gamble if you don't know something. Could it be a member of the BOD? The question is if we are relisting soon why buy shares in this way and not just wait until we are listed again? Either we are not listing anytime soon, or we are listing for a lot more than 1p. | willhi02
23/2/2021 06:45 | The backhander which completes the funding package. I suppose that Nigeria really isn`t too different from most other countries in the world. Will be interesting to finally get the revelation as to whoich entity has been backing Sirius, the oil services provider, all along. I suspect one of the trading giants, such as Glencore or Trafigura, In all probability in league with a large Nigerian privateer. Without doubt, Sirius with its BoD of financiers has been the London-based agent used to procure the big funding required, and put together the technical consortium. This tiddler on its own could not string together $60k, never mind $600m. | dr rosso
23/2/2021 06:29 | 28318-28321 37k to finally get it over the finish line. | lotusflower
22/2/2021 22:25 | It will have taken Dangote 13 years to put his refinery project, part-funded by AFC, into operation. Maybe that was why Sirius Petroleum was set up in July 2008. Oil & gas suppliers. Just a thought, in which case with perfect timing everything has gone acc to plan. Sheer genius. | dr rosso
22/2/2021 20:38 | Note that all of Sirius` subsidiaries are registered in the same Lekki FTZ | dr rosso |
