Sirius kick the can down the road and move the goal posts more times than Boris Johnson does on lockdowns.

Sirius Star is gradually moving closer to the Solar System, so it will slightly increase in brightness over the next 60,000 years. After that time, its distance will begin to increase, and it will become fainter, but it will continue to be the brightest star in the Earth's night sky for the next 210,000 years.

At the end of the 210,000 years we will still be waiting for sirius to actually do something.

lol yeah I'm fully aware which is why in my post just before saying we are 52 days into 2021, and joking we have 313 days left. I'm hoping we get that AIM relist announced in March and not December! Pushing the definition of in the new year. I was just confused at the comment about a very old RNS popping up and main market. The answer how long, too long. 2016? I avoid this thread for my sanity :D

'...is that sentence taken from a very old RNS Number 0491K - 23 August 2019?'

How long have you been here?.....this is the speed at which this company operates.

Looks like it will be AIM

"In addition, the Company has commenced the process for the proposed admission of the Company’s ordinary shares on London’s AIM market in 2021. We will update shareholders on this process in due course."

Taken from the Jenkins site

astral: Of course it could be AIM as you say. I would also be happy whichever way, just so long as they get on with it!

bashmore: Actually it was copied from htrocka's post 108757 above! But yes, it originated in the RNS dated August 2019.

Hi VatnaImo, I don't think it is a strong hint and that AIM market is the most likeliest destination.Rule 14 pertains to rto's, so, imo, that just follows on from when we where last on AIM and that we were looking to relist via a rto.So it's informing shareholders the listing won't be a rto. Now, in effect, we are listing as a new entity. The LSE encompasses both main market and AIM. Given the extra regulatory hoops to jump through and the extra costs and time, I think an AIM listing seems the obvious destination.Hasten to add be happy wherever it is!

Cornish Trader (ref 109)....The silence speaks volumes... (Having extended time limits twice, March 31st having came and went..."the company will update share holders when the deal is concluded")....we never got the update....therefore using conspiracy theories, which is the usual process of determining progress with this company, suggests that the deal 'was not concluded'

In saying that, it is a total disgrace that there has been no mention of 109 since suspension.

Their history indicates that silence is bad news.

"...and will seek a relisting on the London Stock Exchange as a new applicant (rather than pursuant to Aim Rule 14)..."

So that seems like a strong hint that it will be on the main market and not AIM. Whether they can do that successfully will depend upon the strength of the prospectus that they produce.

"The Company will update shareholders as soon as is practicable in the New Year on both the proposed transaction in Nigeria, which was provisionally announced in the Letter to Shareholders on 7 December 2020, and also the Company’s proposed Admission to AIM in 2021." So we are on day 52 so far, 313 days left of 2021. Are we still expecting February, or one of the other ten months?

I have and continue to give the board the benefit of the doubt. I do believe they will pull something out of the bag. In saying that, it is a total disgrace that there has been no mention of 109 since suspension. We were suspended pending RTO and been delisted as a consequence. With covid it may have worked out for the better, but so wrong on many levels.

SirIan...We were given this hint in an rns dated 23rd Aug 2019..not sure if it's still relevant.

'Intention to seek Relisting

The Company is continuing to develop its portfolio and will seek a relisting on the London Stock Exchange as a new applicant (rather than pursuant to Aim Rule 14) as soon as possible'

We weren't asked specifically to vote on a name change proposal. The article of association were updated. The name change 'clause' in there is a std 'clause' following a change in the companies act allowing companies to change names without getting shareholder permission at an agm if it's already in the articles. So yes we could change name but I dont think it's a given because we updated the articles

deadly: Yes it seems Trident VIII is waiting for its next job, and of course that might be a continuation with Moni Pulo. I guess Shelf wouldn't want to go to the expense of moving the rig elsewhere until they have work for it, so long as they have permission to let it sit where it is.
