01/5/2018 10:01 | MXO had a good CPR reserves increase today on their Aje field in OML 113. Following the drilling of 3 wells since their 2014 CPR the new update shows a 6 to 7-fold reserves boost. This is exactly why you get in cheaply on proven fields and then develop them to realise their previously untapped potential. ‘The Company’s strategy is to target proven opportunities and maximize hydrocarbon production and recovery through the acquisition of discovered assets in Nigeria, with a particular focus on shallow water offshore areas and realise upside potential through appraisal activities.’ (AD p.14) There are some clues that Ororo holds very strong upside potential. Ondo references to it being a ‘great asset’..... deeper sands.... strong developmental growth in neighbouring OML 95 fields.... references to the gas monetisation.... being marked as a gas field on that World Bank map etc. Most suspect there’s rather a lot more to Ororo than meets the eyes, which is why we’d be absolutely crazy to try and sell on our portion to raise some money to then farm into a new field. Reyl project funding already means we potentially have access to full field development financing anyway, plus Bobo confirmed at GM that we won’t pay large farm in fees in other assets, so the bulk of available finance will be spent on development activity that increases field (and our) value. | ![]() sherl0ck
01/5/2018 10:00 | Just a gut feeling but I get the sense that the tide has turned for srsp. Looking forward to the next few weeks to see what transpires. The new office is a definitive sign for me and the Senate passing the PIB eliminates it from being a possible cause of delay I see that htrocka looking to make a buy as cheap as possible. | ![]() 1alfi
01/5/2018 09:34 | There's no other way of putting this but.....something's gone wrong.....we're approaching 1.5 years since this rns was issued. Bobo Kuti, CEO of Sirius, commented: (November 2016) "We are delighted to have secured this important Well Management contract with Add Energy, one of the world's leading drilling project management companies. Having Add Energy leading the operations in the field reinforces our confidence in achieving first hydrocarbons in H1 2017." Dermot O'Keeffe, Add Energy Chief Operating Officer, commented: "We are looking forward to working in collaboration with Sirius Petroleum to enable the Company to reach first oil in 2017. Working together with COSL and our other service providers will demonstrate that, in the oil & gas new world order, pooling resources to develop solution-based results is the way forward." | ![]() htrocka2

01/5/2018 05:50 | First of may today maybe an update today more likely not but something has to happen this year at some point summer most likely and at least we may have more confidence and see a rising share price this can turn on a dime we've seen it before. | ![]() aventador
30/4/2018 23:10 | At least we have a consensus between the current and outgoing Ondo State Governors....in that both acknowledge that 'Owena Oil and Gas' is a State owned O@G Vehicle, with the current incumbent admitting that 'Owena' only has two assets..Ororo, mentioned by name and OPL 241. outgoing Governor's farewell speech.(14 months ago) 'We have built on assets inherited from past administrations. We have for example, deepened our investment in the Oil and Gas exploitation and in a short while, we shall start earning direct income from one of them' (obviously referring to Ororo as it's an OML) | ![]() htrocka2

30/4/2018 21:41 | If the current Governor of Ondo State denies that work is being done on OPL 241, he's not telling the truth....this should give you some idea of the environment srsp are up against. doug.... another day tomorrow....plenty of time for red ticks.(anyone can get green ticks.....just say this is going to 50p....a piece of cake....the red ones a harder.
