trying to cling to some positives here 1) rig 1.5 million has been paid, 2) new posh office with from what a poster reported the other day a supposed 10 sirius folk in it. 3) mm's scared stiff to drop this below 0.80 for the past few months even on the back of failed deadlines.

Risky, 1701 sq ft (rent £89.5 + rates £42.5 + service charge £15.4 = £147.40 per sq ft x 1701) = £250,727 pa. My company has a similar size office a stones throw from here and I can assure you it will end up costing over £300k pa with all the extra bills that crop up. I was however simply trying to make a point - it's a punchy financial commitment if they're not close to revenue generation... It would be beyond stupid to sign such a lease if the £££; wasn't imminent.

fortune cookies perhaps.

As for the offices, looking at the website it looked to me more like £100k per year for the 1st floor including services.

The Chuckle brothers could run this sham better.Ten years of reducing share holder value and ten years of failed promises and they continue to get away with it.

Anyone emailed / received a reply from the company? Strange to announce April and then reiterate April in a second RNS. They do like shooting themselves in the foot don't they. However I doubt a company would take on a £300k per year office for the next three years at least (knowing leases in the area) if they weren't pretty confident things were about to happen.

"... it is anticipated, weather conditions permitting, that drilling of the Ororo-2 well will now commence in April 2018."

Presumably the weather hasn't been favourable.

I'm sure the aim regulator does not permit such behavior. Shouldn't the company be investigated?

Unfortunately openfield there are no 'ifs' involved anymore! That is how the company is and has been run for a longtime! The men at the top are proven liars!

Shez - I was around this time last year but I was a relatively new investor, blinded by the potential returns that I thought were coming. If this is how the board operates it is more than shameful

Open field! If you was about this time last year you would of seen the company did exactly the same! Think it was March bobo came out stating oil h1! Just came and went! Disgraceful how this company works!

as i flagged up the other week it said in the ad the rig deposit needs paying 60 days before rig mobilaztion, if it was paid in march then surely rig will not be moving before middle of may. that tp presentation said drilling middle of the year, it seems new investors are told more then the longtermers. plus what did the company have to say to all the people who chucked in millions in the last placing surely they would have to be told something juicy enough to make them want to reef up millions in a placing

The board should be ashamed of themselves. I doubt they are but they should be. To tell shareholders that they were very confident of drilling in the first quarter and even release an RNS to say 'drilling will be in April'....and then to fail to do so, or fail to release an RNS to give reasons why not, is shameful. It shows a total disregard for investors. It surprises me little that the original 'we will drill April' RNS was posted just pre the new ISA allowance to entice potential new investors. Others will disagree and say we have so much more funding from other sources. Really?
Others, mostly company stooges, will now post about the vast number of obscure reasons and potential assets, or compare this company to others that have succeeded, why Sirius is still a winner. Again shameful.
It's not about losing money in my books - as an investor you win some, you lose some, It's the being lied to I can't stand. That's shameful and is indefensible.
And to the red thumb bell end, thank you in advance.
