02/5/2018 12:16 | Be a lot lower soon if we don't see more evidence of the rig location. | ![]() aventador
02/5/2018 12:08 | Shez I could not wait as I got over excited and pressed the buy button | ![]() solarno lopez
02/5/2018 12:07 | Everyone is of a diff opinion ref the rig no one knows for sure if keyser has a contact then brilliant shows bod are hiding bits from us. Others on Twitter and gable stating rig still not moved who do we believe it's a farce the whole thing. | ![]() aventador
02/5/2018 12:04 | That would be a first Keyser :) | ![]() shez20
02/5/2018 12:02 | Savy move! | ![]() shez20
02/5/2018 11:59 | So I see Shez ...I am just waiting on Wiser Than You to tell me what to do !! | ![]() solarno lopez
02/5/2018 11:55 | Read my post again Aventador old chap......I said certain folk were in Nigerian waters awaiting a green light..... The BOD need to be truthful here. | ![]() keysersosse
02/5/2018 11:51 | Sol get your wallet out pal, another chance for an even cheaper top up today ;)Who would of thought that???? | ![]() shez20
02/5/2018 11:08 | Well don't think the rig is on site even though keyser says so sure we will all be sitting here on Xmas day still twiddling our thumbs wondering what the hell this shower are up to. | ![]() aventador
02/5/2018 10:55 | For the attention of Bobo...pull you finger out.....any rig will do. | ![]() htrocka2
02/5/2018 08:58 | HT: I read somewhere that COSL had got a contract for the Power somewhere in Asia. If that's the case, and the Force was coming off hire in the UAE, presumably it made logistical sense to keep the Power in Asia and utilise the Force in Nigeria instead. I believe that the Power and the Force have similar, if not the same, specifications. | ![]() vatnabrekk
02/5/2018 08:44 | Htrocka, Yes it'll take some doing to get all lined up at once, especially if there are other assets involved as that would alter the timing for rig contract. We know they've 2x 45 day wells slots for the Force, but will they extend that, will they have that option. There could be quite complex negotiations going on for the drilling contract beyond 0-3. They've the wellheads in for O-4 and O-5 now too. The pipeline of assets still remains elusive too. Regards, Ed. | edgein
02/5/2018 08:35 | We were not told why we never drilled with the 'Power'. what happened to it?, was it a case of, it's on, it's off' it's on it's off....in view of the uncertain given dates, with a full complimented crew waiting to go, did it get diverted to an ongoing situation as a consequence of the continual spud date shift. Suppose, just suppose for one moment that everyone is flat out due to the current oil price, it may end up being difficult for all the parties in the consortium, being busy in the same boat, to collate and unite at the drop of a hat at the whim of SRSP. If we've been fed all these false starting dates...you can be assured that the consortium have as well....and it may now be a case of SRSP can start drilling when the consortium are ready. There's little benefit in the rig turning up on it's own. | ![]() htrocka2
02/5/2018 08:30 | Alfi, Yes the next RNS should detail the timing for the completion of the mob (if not complete by then) and the spud date. Then its all go. Just to remind folks the important points that dual lateral wells are estimated to produce at 4,500bopd each, the temp facilities planned can handle 15,000bopd and 25mmcfd and have storage for 50k bbls. BP has the offtake in place. Also from what we were previously told the rig could be moved to a new asset after completion of activities on Ororo. Moreover Ororo is far from priced in at $74/bbl vs £30m cap and 88% NRI let alone additional assets (pipeline of assets that we keep hearing about). Seeing is better than hearing though Bobo, time to start showing us the goods fella. Regards, Ed. | edgein
02/5/2018 08:28 | Oh 1alfi - that is dreaming the incredible dream. It would however be a 'let's get the party started RNS' rather than a 'holding RNS'. Too much to think about so early in the day... | openfield68
02/5/2018 08:16 | Following on from yesterday's rns,can we expect another rns in the near term, that will announce mobilisation completion (that is the rig is on site ready to rock and roll) and also give an accompanying spud date. | ![]() 1alfi
01/5/2018 23:50 | Yep, we could be. Anyway, it's bedtime! Let's see what tomorrow brings. | ![]() vatnabrekk
01/5/2018 23:36 | There ain't a delay yet Vatna.Let's wait and see, you never know, we could be pleasantly surprised. | ![]() astralvision
01/5/2018 23:27 | Bear in mind that it's not just little old SRSP and Bobo who's left dangling here, it's the whole consortium with a lot of BIG names involved, Schlumberger, Add Energy, BP, Tidewater (perhaps not such a big name, but no small fry). There's a lot of money at stake here among all of these big companies, I shudder to think how much on a per-day basis is hanging on this if they all had equipment and manpower committed and perhaps on stand-by. So if COSL had a problem with their rig, or with their delivery vessels, they would certainly have been keeping the members of the consortium in the picture. And they would have been bending over backwards to put it right and get the rig mobilised and delivered PDQ. There is no way that they would all just be sitting around waiting for COSL to deliver the rig "at their own convenience". So what I am now thinking is that perhaps the delay in some way concerns the Nigeria end, perhaps it does have something to do with permits, or perhaps there is Nigerian politics involved (god help us!) or could it be some disagreement among some members of the consortium? A pie-sharing dispute, perhaps? Surely not, not at this stage. | ![]() vatnabrekk
01/5/2018 23:26 | There is no delay.... Lets just enjoy.. We wanted the truth now we’ve got it.. I’m happy.... | 1sonic
01/5/2018 23:20 | The BoD have got us all talking about the rig...(again). As we're all on conjecture trips, I'd like to add one final one....As 'vatna...' said, we've no target this time and am just wondering if the rig delay is a red herring for problems elsewhere?....and the BoD allowing COSL to take the heat and is used as an excuse for the delay....just a thought. Having said that, it's just possible that it could simply be that with the recent spike in the oil price, COSL could be 100% flat out and over stretched every where with regular clients screaming and being prioritized for their services.....and we're at the back of the queue. dobranoc | ![]() htrocka2
01/5/2018 23:04 | 1sonic, I agree, we could get an answer from COSL very soon indeed you would think? | ![]() drrichard
01/5/2018 22:53 | Vatna, agree and I did allude to this, i.e. we need a timescale, but, surely, if COSL had been keeping BoD appraised then surely NOMADS would insist on an explanatory RNS before today’s. COSL surely have not kept us dangling for nearly three weeks? | ![]() drrichard |
