18/4/2018 09:01 | With dual laterals predicted to do around 4500bopd and SRSP to have 88% of NRI until payback Ororo could rival ELA's net production, especially on full field development. With the costs of drilling there'll be a lot of cost oil to be recovered back into SRSP's coffers. If Ororo is as big as some hope (bigger than the CPR) then we might start to rival ELA in terms of reserves too. Although that may take the next of the pipeline of assets. The upcoming drilling results will be carefully analysed on the net pay, pressure and flow rates. Regards, Ed. | edgein
18/4/2018 08:46 | O/T (as we wait for news) Our neighbour (OML 40, adjacent block) had a good year. The second paragraph comes right out of SRSP's vocabulary. '2017 has been the most successful year in Eland's history. This is primarily due to the growth in oil production from OML 40, from an average of 1,500 bopd during 2015 and 2016 (and zero at the start of 2017) to 18,500 bopd gross at year end. The Company will continue to pursue the strategy of investing and development on near term producing assets in Nigeria and West Africa. These opportunities are ever increasing for the Company as we continue to prove our capabilities in delivering value to all our stakeholders." 2017 Highlights & 2018 Developments -- Step-change year for the company with production increasing from zero at the start of 2017 to 18,500 bopd gross (Elcrest net 8,325 bopd) in December | htrocka2
