16/4/2018 17:31 | True, HT. Despite all the talk of a buy-out, I just don't see that happening. Not for a long time anyway. I just wish they would get the bloody drill turning! | ![]() vatnabrekk
16/4/2018 17:24 | "But what exactly would they be handing over? At the moment it would be a 40% share in a small offshore marginal" Even that has still got to be ratified by the Government. | ![]() htrocka2
16/4/2018 14:12 | and leave the listed PLC empty Alfi ? | ![]() solarno lopez
16/4/2018 13:42 | Sirius Petroleum would not be taken out. It would be Sirius Ororo, a Nigerian registered company, that Sirius Petroleum holds the total shareholding apart from 1 share. In my view Sirius Ororo is much more than the Ororo marginal field and probably includes other fields from the OML95 area. I would further speculate that Pearland Energy are in some way involved. Other assets are probably linked to other Nigerian registered companies that are mentioned in the AD document and which Sirius hold an investment in. Just guessing but that is how I see it | ![]() 1alfi
16/4/2018 13:21 | mind you at the speed this lot move if i was a bookmaker you would probably make it odds on that we are no further forward by xmas. | ![]() deadly nightshade
16/4/2018 13:17 | yep takeout hopefully anyone still thinking that this rig can be transported from uae and drilling by the next two weeks must be on something. lets hope when they said april it was a hint to say that this will all be concluded by then. that share being held in trust might be easier to transfer it that way. | ![]() deadly nightshade
16/4/2018 13:08 | I'd be happy with that Dr Rosso, bring it on. | ![]() astralvision
16/4/2018 12:46 | Dr...My gut feeling, from info gathered from the AD is that assets within the 'pipeline' have still not been completely signed up...hence could be causing a (as opposed to 'the') hold up.(my opinion only) | ![]() htrocka2

16/4/2018 12:31 | "But what exactly would they be handing over? At the moment it would be a 40% share in a small offshore marginal" Ororo itself is not insignificant, but what we are talking about here is in reality much bigger. 40% held in trust on the Ororo hub project (which includes a string of gas fields in 95) Plus A 40% option, (increasable to 60%) on Block 241 Transfer the trust and the option. Looking at considerably more than 5p | ![]() dr rosso
16/4/2018 12:18 | re BP's early involvement, Sherl0ck made some note's from the pre Xmas presentation here: bp bit: - appeared to allude that BP were engaged very early in our strategic partnership discussions in last 2 years, “we have some very, very good contacts in BP” and “from a very early stage BP has been incredibly constructive and incredibly helpful”. - BP have lost out to some major traders in the last 10-15 yrs and they now have “a strategic intent internally to secure more off-take, particularly in West Africa”. Even though Ororo is relatively small it’s the “opportunity and the platform that gives them to build more off-take in the future” | ![]() astralvision
16/4/2018 11:48 | Either a sell off for 1p of an indefinite wait for this drill to ever happen good old Nigeria. | ![]() aventador

16/4/2018 11:44 | Nice find drrichardI believe Sherl0ck has mentioned the gas side of things once or twice. | ![]() astralvision
16/4/2018 11:41 | Dated today: "At Bloomfield, Okezi was a core member of their Energy and Natural Resources Practice in various transactions which involved providing legal advisory services to different clients in connection to developing a mini-liquefied natural gas project; investment in Ororo Marginal Field;" | ![]() drrichard
16/4/2018 11:35 | As Astral says, if there was a take-out now, what would SRSP be handing over? Presumably just 40% of Ororo, and at this stage of non-drilling and non-production, the value of that is not exactly etched in stone. So a take-out now would most probably sell us down the river and we would be lucky to get our money back. My preference would be for SRSP to get drilling and producing, announce the rest of the "pipeline" and do whatever "agency work" is required to get the next stage set up and ready to go, then someone to buy us out. Then perhaps we'd get a decent price for our shares. | ![]() vatnabrekk
16/4/2018 11:27 | Most definitely Solarno. You only have to check the sp's for companies before placings, when everyone is made inside during presentations and the share price mysteriously sinks! Nothing ever gets done about it, how hard would it be to check every trade? The system stinks, imo and insider dealing is rife, again imo and consistent with available facts and share price performance. Not every case and every placing, but a helluva lot of them.Does a disservice to investors and often small companies alike, as its fraud, imo. | ![]() astralvision
16/4/2018 11:17 | are you saying they deal on inside information Astral ? | ![]() solarno lopez
16/4/2018 11:12 | psAnd let's face if it there was any imminent bid at a substantial premium the city boys would hear about it before we knew anything and would be bidding the stock up for all its worth.sp tells you there is no action on any near term t/out, wishful thinking, imo, unfortunately. | ![]() astralvision
16/4/2018 11:08 | Sounds great, next week please! But what exactly would they be handing over?At the moment it would be a 40% share in a small offshore marginal.Probably worth somewhere around......today's share price?Think there needs to be a bit more meat on the bone before any hand over is going to be worthwhile for shareholders.Have to admit though they are making heavy weather of drilling a well. | ![]() astralvision
16/4/2018 11:07 | Hope your right Rosso let's end this farce sell it off pay us our money let us all out of this circus. | ![]() aventador
