I bought a few of these at about the same time I bought my first SRSP....although I'm well down....however,just as in the srsp story...the tide is finally turning. (it's another oiler climbing out of hole)

well folks the next 3 months will finally reveal if we can keep to a time frame. lets hope the past few rns's are now the sign of a new leaf where pi's are kept informed of whats going on. just need that big rns to say rig is on its way. so far every thing is on time hopefully the next 3 weeks will reveal rig news

xerot I don't view SRSP as a 'dire' share, but then I haven't been invested here for x years at x times the current sp, so can appreciate your view point.Imo, there's only any point in dealing with the here and now, and that is SRSP are in the best position they have ever been. That's factual, no imo required. Yes, there are risks, as with any oil/gas business but SRSP have taken all sensible moves to mitigate those risks.We are entering a very exciting time when the share price will be driven by a combination of operational newsflow and asset newsflow.I've no idea what your average 'in' price is, my expectation is that over the course of this year SRSP will do very well, in terms of the share price It is superbly set up and poised to do just that. However, there are still a large number of variables such as quality of future assets, successful exploitation of Ororo, confirmation of REYL funding going forwards.If I had to put a number on it, then my expectation would be the end of 2018 could be anywhere from 3p-25p, with a more likely range of 5p-10p.25p would require a strong following wind, for example multiple new assets and possibly a bid by year end, all possible but could be pushing the envelope for this year. Mind you, the rise in oil price means extra $'ers are just dropping through to the bottom line and make the proposition here even more attractive.Good luck for the year ahead.

Surely you only need the permit when your ready to drill. The rig will mobilise mid January with or without a permit. The environment one referenced was renewed 5 th December.
