News today or tomorrow then sol unless they can be issued without informing the market.We have not the authority to issue the amount mooted in the recent article ie1.5billion,so maybe we issue what we have authourity over and seek approval for the remainder.Suggests to me its important that sirius raise some cash for something pivotal.interesting times.

In October 2016, Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) of Nigeria completed the acquisition of Twister. A key rationale for the acquisition is that Twister’s gas processing technology will be fundamental to DIL’s strategy of unlocking up to 3 billion cubic feet per day (BCFD) of gas in order to meet Nigeria’s gas needs. Future applications for Twister also include subsea processing and fully unmanned offshore processing platforms.


Seems to fit perfectly with the needs of Ororo/OML 95 hub-cluster gas operation before moving over to Olawepu/owena's 241. Why is there a subsidiary named Sirius Ororo OML95 Ltd, I wonder?

In total, this hub/cluster ie Ororo and 8 outlying Chevron stranded marginals sits on gas, around 160mmboe. Potentially a huge gas operation. Now, who wants this gas?
Introduce 2 characters..
a) Aliko Dangote, with his Lekki-based conglomerate, incl cement, fertiliser, petrochemicals and a brand new multi-billion dollar petrol refinery
b) Toyosi Gbenga Olawepu. Owner of OilWorld, the operator and shared leaseholder of OPL241 (20/80 with Owena O&G). Not only that, he owns Bresson Energy and Transnational Energy Corp which control a string of coastal power stations, gas-fired. TEC is based in San Ramon, California, right next to Chevron's HQ. Its shareholders are TBO and his wife.

They have already told us. The hydrocarbons will be separated out. The methane pure gas gets piped down to Parabe (has to be from Ororo hub which sits on the pipeline between Isan West and Parabe) whilst the heavy stuff gets shipped by barge to the coast for processing. Possibly into methanol (BP Oil's big thing in Nigeria), maybe into other such as butane, propane etc.

If Chevron are no longer flaring gas from the fields adjacent to Ororo, then I would imagine that there is some sort of transport system in place to take that gas to where it's destination is. I wonder if the gas from Ororo will utilise the same transport.

D and ex-D accruals meed to be cleared by OldCo before NewCo lists. A swift 100m going out at 1p would do the trick nicely. Such an occurrence would have to be a week or two before the Company-changer AD rns, and that itself will be accompanied by 14 days notice of GM. They can double up by passing GM in the morning, followed by AGM in the aft.
We should be looking at 2p+ (£80m mcap) on modest asset revelations within AD, and a proposed drilling schedule for the first field. Hold.

Hopefully we won't have too much longer to wait, although quite what they will reveal is anyone's guess, let's hope it's as outlandish as hell, but SRSP's mode of operation to date has been one of minimum disclosure. Or perhaps they just haven't had anything more to disclose. Will this change? Watch this space, as if we had a choice.

Even though we have had a nice little distraction it still doesnt get away from the fact that chevron has reduced flaring by 96% and that gas has gone somewhere from oml95.Outlandish or not ,sirius may be involved indirectly in that gas.HOPE SO.

Whatever, each to their own, but I'm certainly very happy to dismiss a lot of stuff right here and now. Anyone for the 'real BP' for example?
But whilst we are waiting it all helps pass the time
