You sound a bit down ht, my friend. Nothing has changed, Betaville reckons Ororo funding should be nearly done. I would not be surprised for someone to have insisted that we put some cash on the table to get the show started. We can claim the back from early oil run so a short term loan is no problem. Any placees will be getting a bargain.

Warrants can get be repriced and/or extended very very easily, plenty of precedents. They are certainly not set in stone and give no real indication to future action.

Next year WILL be different...Havocs 100m warrants at 2p expire and seven months after so does the Ororo field Licence.

There's no 6 month deadline, as already pointed out on this thread, the 6 month thing is meaningless when we are applying for re-admission anyway.But , in any case, this will return well before that. They are working hard behind the scenes and we should get to see the fruits of their endeavours soon.I'm looking for Christmas to come early this year, turkeys and mince pies all round, cheers.

There is too many respected companies associated with this for this to all be a pie in the sky thing. As i said the other day savvanha petroleum have been suspended 5 months and still no AD so that still gives us at least another 3 months before that 6 month deadline looms, which is plenty of time for a AD

Ht makes a good point, if shares were still trading and we had not got any news the chance are share price could now be 0.50 which would be no good trying to raise capital on any possible placing, as aim hates no news and share price is always taken down on lack of news flow. so could be a positive with no news in that respect. least as it stands we are still sitting here with a chance. i always said this was a punt and could go either way

Bron... to be honest, with the news flow rate coupled with the promise of drilling by H1...then H2, had they not suspended when they did, the share price would now probably be around the 0.25p area now...which is below my stop loss.....and I would probably have been long gone.

An "O&G" Co. that has gone through 7 years in a desperate attempt to not flow oil or gas. Ororo O2a is classed as an appraisal well, not a development/production well.


" Appraisal Well or Appraisal Drilling. A well that is being drilled into a discovered hydrocarbon accumulation to further understand the extent and size of the accumulation – usually denoted by “name-2”, “name-3” etc. Appraisal wells can be abandoned after drilling or kept as future production wells.

During field appraisal programs, appraisal wells are drilled in order to ensure that the discoveries made during exploration field have enough hydrocarbons that can last long and give an economic appreciation to the organization findings. Once the appraisal wells are drilled they provide information such as physical extent of hydrocarbons, likely production rate from the field, flow of fluids and volume of fluids, etc.

In any asset development program, there are certain procedural steps that follow one another. Below are the phases in chronological order of the asset development:

Exploration
Field Appraisal
Field Development
Production


7 years on and seemingly not even started on Stage 2 appraisal drilling. And yet a string of illustrious partners, including Ondo State, show no signs of deserting the ship.

Bron....merely a reference to the Betville article.... the fact that this company seems hell bent on failing to issue news that may effect its valuation and maintaining a vice like grip on the share price ..until the final shares are in place. This may have been one of the reasons for suspension at the current share price level when they could have raised cash on the open market at 2p+ instead of to 'current and existing shareholders' at the suspended level.

A joint Operating agreement to me suggests either of the partners can operate in tandem with the consortium....so not outlandish after all.

1sonic.....nice find, it would nice if true....maybe, just maybe the news is being supressed...or to quote the company, 'segmental reporting is at the discretion of the management' , until the final batch of shares of 0.7p are in the right hands. (my opinion only of course)


(ps...another minor point, If Sherl10ck no longer writes because some one had touched a nerve regarding his connection with the company...maybe we should retrieve and go over some of his old posts.....just a thought.)

richard - My understanding is that both use planned data and have received the same info from somewhere. Nic at Infield hasn't been of much use with his info. Hope we hear something good soon. Suffering from Angus this morning.
