Carr, tbh people die! That’s a fact of life... 2 things in life, Tax and death! Business is business we have to move on. PG as sad as it is and I feel for his family, friends and work colleagues. I’ve lost family and friends in the time I’ve invested here... let’s not forget one thing here, the bod work for us the share holders.....

Sonic what are the time frames regarding the AGM it will soon be a year since the last one. Can they over run like they did last year?? i would have thought they would have wanted to get this wrapped up by the AGM. I just hope and pray we get a takeout as i am tired of the slow pace this lot work at and really would be happy to see 2p and for me to exit happy

There won't be any news for a while now out of respect for Peter Gregory. They are hardly going to release news so soon after such a sad event.

'But what did pg DO in his 7 months stint?'

Without trawling back on my old posts, I remember when Graham Lyons, who is contracted as negotiating advisor to Sirius Petroleum (as posted on his LinkedIn site) had completed the deal with BP, posted on the site that he was 'burnt out and needed a break'. I thought at the time that a man of his experience posting such a statement....the negotiations must have been horrendous and hard going, but he came out with a deal at the end. You have to ask your self once Graham stepped to one side and Peter took over the reins......was Peter then under the same pressure?

I think PG bought the vendor finance together as a means of bringing the( as Schlumberger said, world class) project together. What a shame he is not around to see it through to its glorious conclusion.

As to the AD, I think at this late stage his imput will be finished. So no delays.

As to the future, can’t wait to see where we are headed

sirius said that mr gregory's job was to over see ororo project so i am wondering as you have often said dr rosso if ororo is the hub to link everything up then was the job to bring everything up to the point of production then a takeout. it appears sirius might still have a obligation to fill by the need to replace mr gregory at this late stage. why not just bring in a top bod from the consortium to cross the t's and dot the i's. what every happens this is all going to remain a mystery right to the end. on the face of it all this hush hush and minimal news flow would point to something big behind the scenes but after all these years if this turns out just to be about one smallish oil field then we really will be wondering what all these years of waiting have all been about.the fact all these big hitters are signed up here surely means the former though

Ht, thats probably why mr gregory was hired because of his wiser older head and experience and connections in all things oil. the fact that at this point of the project he needs replacing tells you that there must be work to do to bring this to a conclusion. i wonder what pat plunkett is up to over at providence resources as he too has a simular age and experience profile and having worked for tullow oil must have african oil knowledge. we need a guy of his calibre to fill the big void left by the sad loss of mr gregory

'I note that PG was said to be "working tirelessly". A sad loss to family and Company. But what actually did he do in his time here?'

I would imagine that co-ordinating half a dozen contracted and experienced global players in the oil and gas industry on a large complicated project, possibly all vying for supremacy, is a job I wouldn't want to take on baring in mind that programmes and schedules have to be kept with contracts that may possibly be constantly changing hence effecting the originally agreed terms and price not to mention maintenance of supply chains, etc, etc. Let's hope that the BOD get hold of a COO sharply so as to maintain the current work programme and bring this lot to a conclusion.

Seems like ADD's hired-out consultant, Mr Gregory, and Mr Lyon ex-Suncor, were both renowned experts in big gas, one a head driller, the other a dealmaker. Crucial members of the operational team, yet both were kept quiet, and neither appointed to BoD. Why?

I note that PG was said to be "working tirelessly". A sad loss to family and Company. But what actually did he do in his time here?

Sounds good, can anyone explain why there is around a $6 differential between Brent and WTI crude, shipping costs on oil are very low, so that wouldn't account for it.
TIA

That's the problem with the world these days, no one cares about anyone else but themselves. Sad state of affairs. Greed is evil, it corrupts the soul. I'd rather be penniless than have zero compassion for others.

Kindness and helping others is what makes life worth living not greedily counting your ill gotten gains that you no doubt screwed a lot of people to get.

Money and material things don't make you happy or content. It's the relationships you build with people, that's what it's about.

Don't wish to get into a debate over it 1alfi. I've said my piece about it. I showed my compassion to the board by sending them a private email offering my regards to them and his family. Sorry I'm not as compassionate as many on this board.
