28/8/2017 19:37 | Cant wait for this to conclude, not the money thats going to float my boat but the realisation that htrocka.s almost legendary links will be in the dark closet of history. | bronislav
28/8/2017 08:55 | o/t (some weekend reading) Talking of the Saudi's.... we where within a hairs whisker of indirectly being suck up by the Saudis.....but kept out by the skin of our teeth through the BoDs perception.....never | htrocka2
27/8/2017 23:10 | 'But we have no idea how much debt is ahead of us with srsp, and no idea what the poo will be in say 5 yrs...' You lads are worrying about a problem of your own creation....history is usually a good predictor and indicator of future events..... How much debt do they carry now?, have they not been prudent with cash flow for the past six years? We don't know the full extent of the BP package. Bobo did mention 'Reserve Base Lending'...but that was before BP came on the scene. The Glencore and Nima abortive deals indicates that the Bod have a sense of perspective and recognise a poor deal.... don't forget, we're currently run by Bankers, who are well aware of the consequences of too much debt. Don't worry about five years time...this will be gone, just enjoy the ride of the next five months. As for as the price of poo is concerned...I mentioned earlier that the Saudis' are floating off 5% of Aramco next year, the biggest IPO in British history...and said they're looking for $60 a barrel...it's currently above $52...and I'm sure the Saudis will make it happen. | htrocka2

27/8/2017 20:00 | But we have no idea how much debt is ahead of us with srsp, and no idea what the poo will be in say 5 yrs! At least we should be certain we won't be buying fields in northern Iraq as per afren. | pgtops
27/8/2017 19:52 | I wouldn't compare SRSP with AFREN...Afren carried too much debt, expanded too fast when oil was $140 a barrel, signed up large covenants at $100 a barrel....then the price of oil dropped through the floor followed by defaults on loans......and in came the carpet baggers. | htrocka2
27/8/2017 18:29 | Any idea of the mc of afren when they were producing c30k bopd in Nigeria, think they had plenty of debt though! | pgtops
27/8/2017 17:30 | well lets just say if this comes back at 1p there would be a lot of us folk wondering what the hell this has all been about after all these years of waiting. so for that matter alone we will on paper need at least 2p-3p short term just as a miniumn to get this ball rolling. we have also got to hope that the market buys into what we hopefully have here, a lot of companies are a bit like marmite in the sense that investors either love them or hate them. there are multiple oil companies sitting with low valuations with very little pi interest in their current share prices. ukog is a share that investors have really grown a interest in and the sort of rush there is what we need here. the main thing we need here is to get these "assets" into production asap and get that cash rolling in for the oil and gas, that way our share price can only go one way and thats up!! the profit is there and so are the tax advantages for srsp they just need to be exploited as fast as possible by drilling these wells | deadly nightshade
27/8/2017 15:33 | 6cer, the caveat is how long folk are prepared to wait for 50p+ It's taken what feels like eternity to get to this suspension! How long do you think this would take to get to £2BN MCAP? | bumhammer
27/8/2017 13:08 | Well done htrocka2 - you have confirmed what I have been going on about for ages 50p+ per share. | 6cer
27/8/2017 12:45 | Are unicorns real? Name me a company that does 10,310 bopd worth 50p ....... Ha Why the obsession with the share price and comparing to others, it's all about the M-Cap. Unicorns were 'invented' by the Church due to a latin mis-translation of the 'single horned rhino'....and as far as the 50p share price is concerned...as CornishTrader says..it's all to do with Market Cap. Let's look at this about twelve months down the line. Ororo and Block 1 will not only be up and running, but drilling costs on both projects should have been paid for by then. SRSP will have 40% of the 10,310 bode(and that's without the Daffney CPR estimates)....with which we could be going up to 12,000 barrels equivalent p/day or higher, which could give SRSP as much as 5,000 barrels p/day net. On top of this will be Block 1 production that could/should be even greater. With these numbers in mind we have a current Market Cap of circa £28m. UKOG are currently pulling 1,365 barrels of oil out of the ground.....and have a market macap OVER £258m. If you're looking for Unicorns, you best look for them on the UKOG thread.....because they've found them. (UKOG 1365 BOPD=£258m+ M/C....SRSP (potentially) up to 10,000 bode(and that's at the end of the first year) current M/C = £28m) (a pro-rata estimate based on UKOG would put this company's MC close to £2bn by the end of the first year.....which mysteriously , equates to 50p a share) | htrocka2
27/8/2017 10:37 | We haven't got a clue what will be the outcome apart from current shareholders should be better off on its return. | oakville

27/8/2017 09:17 | The Times, yesterday re oil stocks and the dual problem of $50 oil and the beginnings of a shift away from oil. "The task for investors is to identify energy companies with the lowest sustainable cost structures and the technology leaders who continue to drive efficiency gains". Break even cost of around $27 and vendor finance keeps our costs low, and hitching our wagon to ADDEnengy and Schlumberger should give us the technology edge. We provide the assets, stitch it all together and, hey presto! We are in business. | drrichard

26/8/2017 11:21 | Ororo deeper sands data in the hands of Gaffney and Schlumberger were withheld from Rockflow, so are not included in the R cpr. R cpr should contain details on how Ororo is linked to a no. of other fields in OML95. All info tba in joa AD. Should include other assets too | dr rosso

25/8/2017 18:57 | A smoker and a BBQ!, my dream, roll on the AD, I need to get cooking. | jamie40
25/8/2017 15:43 | Nigeria has an oil reserve of 37bb and a gas reserve of 180bcf. That's around 30 years supply. A month here or two wont do to much damage. Chill.. have a beer and think where you are now to where you were 6 months ago. Them figures above truly are big. I think Nigeria has the 9th biggest global oil reserve and the 11th biggest Gas reserve. Even the avengers are ready for dialogue and another new pipeline opened with Forcados up and flowing again (ish). Nemby Creek and Bonny are good. I think just Forcados down cost somewhere around 250.000 BPD OUCH!!! I believe SRSP has done its due diligence and the timing is now right. Sabotage can be crippling. As someone posted "the ducks are in a line" Its a bank holiday weekend its going to be sunny and i'm sparking the smoker and BBQ up. Cheers. | deltaman2
25/8/2017 14:06 | Exactly they've had all year to do these documents already | aventador
