Except, qprallan, I think I read that that project expects first oil in 2019. A little early for their FPSO, whereas, as Htrocka observed , Schlumberger are expect to be on on site with us in H2

'IMO its the others not telling Sirius whats going on'

I should imagine that since the intervention of BP AFTER the consortium had been signed up, that every one, including BP and Sirius have their own agenda.

I wonder if they've told Add Energy, Schlumberger, Tidewater, BP and COSL wtf is going on? I bet they haven't left these big boys hanging around in mid air in the dark!

Might as well ask Google they ain't gonna tell you what you want to hear same as the agm complete fob off as they say it's confidential which lets be fair it is.The info we need to know and which will make us money is price sensitive and will only come out once a deals been completed it's just taking forever and a day to do so.

vat - I didn't actually ask him anything. I just told him the company should pull their finger out and tell us wtf is going on (or words to that effect)

They are replying. Just keep repeating everything from their last statement.

He asked him what the time of the day was...he answered and said 'I'm sorry I can't tell you that as I've signed a confidentiality agreement and it comes under price sensitive info.'

As daft as the question and answers sounds...at least, with the time differential, you would find out if the talks were being held in Britain or Nigeria.

(ps...Hope to see you all next year.....if we're still here)

Just putting two and two together.....Schlumberger stated that they have been awarded an ISM contract by SRSP which will begin later in 2017.....so far so good. However, the ISM contract can only begin AFTER the well has been drilled by others.

from Shclumberger results..
'Sirius Petroleum, an investment company focused on oil and gas exploration and development opportunities in Nigeria, awarded Schlumberger a multiwell contract for ISM operations in the Ororo field. The contract, which will begin later in 2017, includes directional drilling services, logging, completion and production fluids, cementing and pumping services, well intervention and stimulation products and services, well testing services, wellsite communications, data and software solutions as well as Cameron wellheads and production trees.'

What ISM contracts involve.
'ISM provides services to customers who elect to use Schlumberger products and services for all or the majority of the performance of their well operations. ISM services are provided on a time and materials basis and do not include well engineering (either drilling or production) and wellsite supervision, which remain the customer’s responsibility.

'drilling, production and wellsite supervision remain the customers responsibility.'

In short, the contracted ISM compliance by Schlumberger as stated in their results can only be fulfilled after the well has been drilled.

(ps...another six weeks and the first half of H2 will be gone.....and no sign of a rig yet)

deadly: I can access GP's web site without any trouble, using a MAC and Safari. They still say that they are the Operator of Ororo!

And they could be, for all we know.

69585 Great post Bron.
Folk clutching at straws here, searching for rigs and looking for hidden clues on Guarantees useless website.

The ONLY thing worth discussing is the content of the next RNS and not a holdings one either.
