That's true, but in view of the fact that Chevron drilled an appraisal well on 241 then capped it, doesn't sound like the 1bn barrel oil field that srsp profess to have a share in and intend to drill immediately after Ororo .(If it was the 1bn barrel field referred to in a srsrp rns, Chevron would have commercialised the field after the appraisal well results).The point being that the field to be drilled directly after Ororo, as stated in an rns cannot be OPL 241.






Inference would suggest that in view of the fact that srsp refer to the next field to be drilled along side and after ORORO is an 'oil field', together with the rns that contains that information tells us that the deal was concluded in the year 2012, the same year that srsp forms a new subsidiary called Sirius 2012 Limited, that was not in existence prior to that date, therefore is a virtual certainty that the field in question is OML 2012. Vat....Chevron drilled an appraisal well in 241 and have the data. I can only presume that they found it to contain gas, not exactly what they wre looking for at the time and plugged the well.

Yes, but isn't the licence for 241 held 20% Oilworld and 80% Owena? And in their web site, Oilworld claim to be the operator of 241. So is there any production going on there at the moment?

What is happening on 241 at the moment? Oilworld is supposed to be the operator, but are they actually doing anything, are they producing anything at the moment?

Well i dread to think what the AGM will be like if the bb the past two days is anything to go by. I have given up anticipating when this RNS might drop i have two dates fixed in my head when the company have got to give the next update and that is the half year results september and the AGM if its this year or dragged into early part of next year if the delay in last years is anything to go by. What is delaying this at the moment could be a million and one reasons where this lot is concerned. one thing i would add is we all shouldn't be surprised at this delay, i would be more suprised if there wasn't a delay.

I just hope there's a suspension RNS on Monday morning as I have a suspicion that one or two people, probably affiliated to the Plant Pot Club, have been locked out and are hoping for a dip in the sp, so they can get back in.

I also think that last night's storm was deliberately started in the hope that it will undermine the opening share price.
