01/8/2017 14:52 | On the jack-up side, where COSL operates 33 rigs, CNOOC gave 19 contracts to COSL, which translates into an 85% utilization rate for its domestic rigs. There has also been a lot of positive momentum for its overseas rigs, with three new contracts signed in 2Q17 with COSL Seeker, COSL Power and Haiyangshiyou 936. The contracts are in Papua New Guinea, Mexico and Nigeria. Even with the new contract signings, however, the overseas utilization rate remains low at only c.40%. We do not forecast the contracts for 2018 jack-ups as visibility remains low compared to semi-subs, but we assume that all work given by CNOOC will resume in 2018 given CNOOC's higher capex plans. | hazydaisy
01/8/2017 11:54 | Pretty obvious that things are outside the control of the 3 Sirius Ds. Ondo people have now taken over from Agent Sirius. Rig moves on their say-so. Just please don`t wheel out Beachboy for another podcast. | ![]() dr rosso

01/8/2017 11:08 | A 7 year tale of statements, confusing deceptive open to different interpretations, red herrings, key info withheld, mystery characters. Nothing straightforward. Supposedly in negotiations to finalize a major funding deal yet the Co. hasn`t had a FD for the last 18 months. Who`s really I/c here? | ![]() dr rosso
01/8/2017 10:54 | Some of the stuff being promulgated here is truly embarrassing. | ![]() sherl0ck
01/8/2017 10:34 | There is no evidence anywhere in Company statements that it is in, or has been in, talks with any international oil producer. What is perhaps more significant is that the multitudinous 500k trades seem to have suddenly and completely dried up. Does this signify that a sufficient no. of shares have now been moved into the hands of the rto target privateer? | ![]() dr rosso

01/8/2017 10:19 | I am pretty sure BP (Just BP ) is used worldwide as an acronym for any part of BP plc | ![]() qprallan
01/8/2017 10:13 | Simple..email the company or the nomad and ask for clarification. It's also a sad reflection of how some shareholders view the integrity of the company. Is this the shareholders fault or is it the company at fault.Being honest, I myself do no longer have the same confidence I once had but still think we are on to a winner. The investor relation side of the company is pathetic ,there may be a good reason for this or should I say let's hope there is a good reason. | ![]() bronislav
01/8/2017 10:05 | The point I'm trying to make is that everyone is assuming it's BP PLC when SRSP just said BP ! | ![]() bennyfishery
01/8/2017 10:04 | for it not to be LON:BP, the nomad would be falling way short of expected standards of conduct, given how widely it has been reported. The lack of clarification RNS means that either a) it really is LON:BP or b) the board are the worst kind of crooks and the nomad not much better. This is AIM though, so 50/50! | ![]() jjcamargo
01/8/2017 09:56 | With respect benny....BP must be in talks with many, many parties around the globe, all at various stages of negotiations...Even the SRSP website fail to tell us how many shares the directors, Owena Oil and Gas, Guarantee petroleum. Taglient Oil Nigeria hold in Sirius Petroleum. Have you ever thought that both SRSP and BP may want to keep the talks at low profile....until their conclusion? 12/06/2017 3:46pm Dow Jones News BP (LSE:BP.) LONDON-- Oil and gas company Sirius Petroleum PLC (SRSP.LN) Monday said it is in talks with BP PLC (BP.LN) about a facility to support the financing of a proposed drilling program on the Ororo Field in Nigeria. | ![]() htrocka2

01/8/2017 09:50 | They could be in discussions with Ronald McDonald as far as im concerned we still have no confirmed deals or finance still signed get a move on. | ![]() aventador
01/8/2017 09:32 | Both Sherl0ck and htrocka are jumping to conclusions. SRSP did not mention BP PLC in their RNS. They actually said "Discussions with BP, and other parties". Everyone seems to believe that it's BP PLC, (even ADVFN misquoted the RNS) when only BP was mentioned. Where on the BP website is it as plain as day? There's no mention of SRSP on the BP Website. | ![]() bennyfishery
01/8/2017 09:16 | Not all of us were lead astray htrocka, it was obviously nonsense to me. | ![]() rod99 |
