Sherl0ck Many thanks for the reply and your guidance figure thoughts. Appreciated, as it's not always easy to stick even a rough figure down without folks saying it's too low or too high or using it in evidence x days down the road!I would be extremely happy with a figure anywhere close to the bottom end of your range. If and when we get there I reserve the right to look for more, subject to whatever conditions and situation we find ourselves at that time.I also find it highly encouraging that a respected poster such as Sherl0ck has those sort of figures in mind. I appreciate that doesn't mean it will happen or he is correct but I take encouragement nevertheless.

when all said and done i still personally view this as s lottery style gamble. i sold out 25% the other week and have seen nothing since that has made me regret that decision. although i am fortunate enough to be in profit i take nothing for granted as for sure one excellent rns could see thid multiply but that can also work the other way with one bad rns. i am still not totally convinced as the form book says that so far this share has produced very little in the way of share holder value and facts are we are still awaiting news like always

The mantra from BK was that it was hoped that first oil would be flowing by Sept 2012. He even included the statement in an official rns. Nearly 5 years on and a drilling rig isn`t in place.

Get taken over and let in some highly credible heavyweight O&G experts who`ll get on with the job of production. The current Sirius set-up has proved itself totally incapable of meeting numerous promises to drill and produce. Maybe that has never actually been their intention?

10-15p is a good shout and a bloody good result from these prices look at ukog imho only a matter of time before we see a straight line up once the secrecy and deals are completed no more reasons to hold us back.

6cer - my initial MINIMUM ROI target isn't necessarily a sell price or the max I think we can achieve. As more info becomes available I may adjust this. Just felt it was more realistic & grounded to limit our mcap this side of £1bn for now as there's still so much we don't yet know. If our potential to substantially exceed this becomes clearer then all the better.

Perhaps you can outline the specific rationale behind your 50p figure and when you hope to achieve this? I could easily say 75p...£1....or even £10 simply because I want it to be so, but that doesn't make it a reality.

6cer what planet are you on when you keep saying 50p? is this with or without a share consolidation? that would be correct me if i am wrong a 1.5 billion market cap? 10p would surely be a great acheavement i would even rejoice at 2p the way that this share price has been the past few years that would be a massive milestone on its own

Astralvision - it's admittedly a nice round number I've plucked out and I do think it's both fairly conservative & fully achievable based on the scale of what we may be involved in. For guidance it's within the oft-talked about 10-20p range but I certainly reserve the right to adjust my expectations as more info becomes available!

I agree, Sherlock. Not only have we gathered a consortium but we have learned that ADDEnergy have had an engineers doing stuff (post 66585), Schlumberger have indicated H2 as game time and indicated works required (68595 ) and COSL have nominated (i.e. reserved) a rig. These companies would have done DD and have done more than announce their presence alone and that suggests we have assets and access worth being part of.

Exactly swiz. Whilst many are quick to assume an imminent big takeover (and I'm certainly not ruling this out), I heard this same mantra when I first invested around 5 years ago. So I think it's prudent to retain an open mind to all possibilities, including growing the company should the BoD feel that's in our best interests.

Some will scoff at the idea and point out that we're just not set up to do so, but everything can change quickly....additional recruitment can be undertaken/or we simply have a seat within a newly formed and incorporated JV and let partners do a lot of the heavy lifting etc.

After building a consortium over this past year, something disasterous will have needed to have happened if the share price hasn't moved on in a couple of years time. It might not always feel like it, but I sense a crescendo. The partners are here to get cracking on the opportunities that exist now, not just faff around for a few more years.
