20/7/2017 13:02 | the end game might play out sooner then we think. interesting how the share price seems to be glued near the 1p mark like a magnet pulling it towards it the past few weeks. like dr rosso said the bod might be back seat passengers now like us just waiting for the end game | ![]() deadly nightshade
20/7/2017 12:55 | Hence the reason we have invested in SRSP | ![]() solarno lopez
20/7/2017 12:50 | Schlumberger holds all the data, including Ororo deeper sands, outlying OML95 gas fields + all the 3D seismic collected by PGS on OPL 241. They know full well that the initial 2P estimate comes to around 1.2bbnoe from the 3 main assets. | ![]() dr rosso
20/7/2017 12:36 | I doubt its a coincidence that yhe volume increased markedly just after schlumberger signing was announced..schlumber | ![]() bronislav
20/7/2017 12:18 | I doubt very much that the BoD is in control of anything, be it info releases, field development or whatever. I`m sure they are a diligent and hardworking team intent on bringing the venture of Agent Sirius to a successful conclusion, with resultant payoff. As frustrated as the rest of us, I dare say. The ones who operate and manipulate this saga behind the scenes are the dark forces at work. Note the 500ks and 1ms continue apace, relentless block trading. | ![]() dr rosso

20/7/2017 12:04 | Not for me 1alfie! Reported by the times which we know the bod have used to plant things in the past! Someone wanted it out in open! Buys them more time! Also what damage could it really do? Any other potential investor will be aware of talks with alternate company's and bod have spoke since about bp so have not took offence by it! | ![]() shez20
20/7/2017 11:45 | Anywhere else but Nigeria, and the deal would have been done by now. Delay probably down to someone influential, somewhere, wanting to move the goal posts again! Must know either way by the end of this month, surely? | stbilow
20/7/2017 11:25 | It could be that ororo funding was already on the table but the company were, behind the scene, trying to get shareholders a better deal with BP and all was going well until someone decided to leak the information, putting it in the public domain, causing untold problems for the BOD. Maybe the blame for the current delays rest with the people involved in the leak and jeopardising lth's interests in exchange for making some extra dollar in a consequential spike in the share price | ![]() 1alfi
20/7/2017 11:23 | We are all suffering from frustration, As Sirius has admitted that they are in talks with BP through an RNS, surely they would have to also RNS if they were no longer in talks. | ![]() qprallan
20/7/2017 11:22 | Doesn't have to be but could include cash burn items. I would think the most important items are unrelated to cash burn other than some fairly trifling in the scheme of things expenses. | ![]() astralvision
20/7/2017 10:59 | 'Maybe 'everything else' is not on hold,' You're probably right....but if things are moving elsewhere, it's got to be cash burn related. | ![]() htrocka2
20/7/2017 10:50 | That is my reading too, Astralvision. | ![]() drrichard
20/7/2017 10:49 | Maybe 'everything else' is not on hold, we don't know what's happening behind the scenes, but, given the news flow over the last 9 months or so, I doubt if we are 'on hold'. I would think a great deal of activity is taking place and I look forwards to hearing about that soon. | ![]() astralvision
20/7/2017 10:42 | 'Sherlock the doc is questioning them and quite rightly so because they have stated oil in first half of year now they have failed that target with no explaination..' Sher10ck refers to the Results statement that confirms that we're still in talks with BP, so all's well....but read that statement again... BP offtake and pre-payment facility On 12 June the Company announced that it was in discussions with BP regarding an offtake and pre-payment facility to support the financing of the Company's proposed drilling programme on the Ororo Field. The Board intends to make a further announcement on this project in the near future. In November 2016 they talked of producing hydrocarbons in H1.However, in the 'post events' article of the Results, referred to above, they stated that they were/are in talks with BP 'to support the financing of Ororo'. If they were/are in talks for Ororo financing with BP, then they could not have drilled in H1 because they didn't have all the money in the first place. It would have been better if they had come out and said that in view of the BP talks, every thing else is now on hold. | ![]() htrocka2
20/7/2017 10:39 | There`s a difference between working diligently and stealthily towards a conclusion and pulling the wool over people`s eyes in the process of getting there. Does the end justify the means? I would say not because a lot of people have been at times encouraged in, at times influenced out, in many cases being duped out of their investment. | ![]() dr rosso
20/7/2017 09:59 | It reminds me of a script in Minder. Full of Arthur Daley types stringing each other along. If ppl do not wish to be accused of such, let`s have a bit of honesty and transparency. | ![]() dr rosso
20/7/2017 09:53 | Yes all good dr rich but i topped up on the basis we would have firsr oil by now and my money back. | ![]() aventador
20/7/2017 09:53 | Totally agree drrichard. Some folk on here getting their knickers in a twist methinks. | ![]() astralvision
20/7/2017 09:45 | In the 8 months since the AGM, when you topped up Aventador, we have appointed a COO, had multiple partners signed up, had a seabed survey done, identified a rig and most recently, had BP sniffing around. Not bad IMHO As far as I can see we are around three weeks over the Q1 deadline. Zippo in terms of organising a drilling campange. Come on guys(and as a frustrated long term hold I will conveniently forget about past history), this is not the same SRSP as two or three years ago. oh, and oil is banging on $50 | ![]() drrichard
20/7/2017 09:44 | If BP weren't in discussions, after being mentioned once in an RNS and once in the AR. Sirius would be in court quicker than you can say '1 pence again'. | ![]() cornishtrader1000
20/7/2017 09:27 | But it's not all fairy tale imaginary stuff - BP are (or were) in discussion with SRSP, were they not? | ![]() vatnabrekk
20/7/2017 09:26 | At the agm and the chat among investors was positive very positive in fact and I bought more shares on the back of it, now 8 or so months on we haven't seen much physical progress just more delays it would seem the bigger picture though still remains positive. Only issue is now how many more deadlines can they miss.. and they wonder why investors are angry some of us are still sat on big losses and our lives are on hold waiting for this never ending promise of first oil to materialise.H2 it may be let's hope it doesn't then drag on into 2018. | ![]() aventador
20/7/2017 09:24 | 'Why would they break strict confidentiality agreements and risk jeopardising this entire project to reveal assets we don't yet own and which you claim to already know about anyway?' You're being a bit hard on him She10ck...DR has a point. The company themselves have told us they have other assets....yet only give us about 50% of the information....which leaves us speculating as to the final 50%. For instance, with ref to the article below, maybe, just maybe it's not the Ororo funding that's holding up the works but the 'Oil Block' linked with Ororo that may be causing the delay......which may be one of the 'other assets' referred to in the Betaville article. 26/11/'12 '...the Company will work with its partners, to put both the Ororo Field and the Oil Block into production, as soon as is practicable.. | ![]() htrocka2 |
