18/8/2016 22:16 | Maybe DocH has had a few in his back drawer. Might explain why he was interested in talking to Bobo? | drrichard
18/8/2016 21:30 | Possibly. I just wondered as the RNSs tend to mention that fundraising participants are existing holders, so wasn't sure how they get involved, or know one is due. | ropot
18/8/2016 21:26 | Do I not recall that Doc tweeted re a meeting with Bobo? He presume knew then? | drrichard
18/8/2016 21:13 | Are their placings different to the LTHs? How did they know about the last fund raise in order to get involved? | ropot
18/8/2016 21:08 | There are precious few free lunches, Ropot. As you know. I cannot believe they are tweeting for our good. | drrichard
18/8/2016 21:03 | Do many punters follow Twitter for them to get the desired effect? I thought the LSE board would be the best place for that... | ropot
18/8/2016 20:57 | Well, DrR, their twittering has not had much effect on the share price so far. The gentle rise is not the sort of explosive rise the P&D guys are looking for. If the tip was real they would be PMing and not doing it in en clair | drrichard
18/8/2016 20:30 | Okay, Carados, I will bite. Good volume with a couple of big roll overs. Last time we hit 0.4 it seemed very like p&D with a very fast rise and an equally prompt dump. This time we have had three days rise and not a huge sell off. Seems like the MMs are walking us up slowly. Decent volume tomorrow might well see us through 0.4. Oh, and looks like two late posted 4m buys 😊 | drrichard
18/8/2016 20:24 | Big day today with the trades and nobody is posting about it😢 | carados
18/8/2016 17:58 | My short post was "what a load of rubbished, do something useful". I used google translate having long forgotten any useful Latin. The very long post was Latin garbage used in the publishing trade to block out page space for text not yet in hand. Enough already. | drrichard
18/8/2016 17:30 | I expect the poster doesn't know what it says either - you can cut & paste anything in an attempt to appear intelligent. | b4agc
18/8/2016 17:27 | Big volume today☺ maybe the rns tommorow we all hope for☺ | carados
18/8/2016 17:18 | Has anybody come up with a translation of that Latin post from last night?☺ Twitter again talking more than normal about srsp☺ | carados
18/8/2016 14:10 | Owena Energy have always intrigued me.. They were initially set up to take over the Owena Oil and Gas assets, yet here they are, still plodding along and employing staff. One has to try and draw a conclusion as to their 'end game'. The only one I can come up with is that in view of the fact that the Owena debacle was resolved, no one was prosecuted and Owena Energy seems to be going on from strength to strength. As the initial dispute was between the State Commissioner and State Governor, I suggest that as the dispute was harmoniously resolved an alliance now exists, in some form, between Owena Energy and Owena Oil and Gas. If 100% of Owena Oil and Gas belongs to Ondo State, then, just as in the SRSP/Ororo relationship, Owena Energy now has an 'economic interest' in the 100% State owned vehicle....probably as managers on behalf of the State. In which case it's by this route that they'll end up with a 'piece of the pie' that initially eluded them. I doubt we've heard the last of Owena Energy. | htrocka2
18/8/2016 13:27 | you were spot on BH | solarno lopez

18/8/2016 13:04 | hahah lets hope BH | solarno lopez
18/8/2016 13:03 | Thats all well and good Sol, but we know what comes next too - a drop back down! Unless of course someone has sprinkled fairy dust and a Viagra suppository up it's jotter. | bumhammer
18/8/2016 12:48 | ....never mind all this idle chatter and speculation ..its gone up ! | solarno lopez
18/8/2016 12:09 | CN is pretty well loaded up in shares through numerous family member accounts. Fully intent on seeing this through into production and beyond. No indications of the Co. being sold off. Merger looks most defo on. Our man FWC could well be kept on as a Non_exec due to his inter-dealer broker experience. Shift Bobo to one side to be Community Relations Officer, and that leaves the field free to bring in the big O&G hitters onto BoD. | dr rosso
18/8/2016 11:25 | Takeover would be great and I fully appreciate why many PIs might just want a pay day and be done with it, but my question is why would the company sell now when we could potentially embark on an accelerated process to really tap into the "significant asset pipeline" and grow this company into something very substantial...and then sell for a much higher value / or farm down portions of assets for big money. If we've put so much time & effort into gaining a unique position of strength, I almost think it would be a shame to then walk away. | sherl0ck
18/8/2016 11:13 | well done DRR that is a statement of clear intent | solarno lopez
18/8/2016 10:47 | GP web site has been updated, I think and I don't recall seeing this clarification before "We are proposing to drill a new well (Ororo-2) as against our original Ororo-1 re-entry plan" | drrichard
18/8/2016 07:57 | Ref Corvus The re-vamped site still includes the Capinvest funding facilty..... yet we have, from the BOD, this continual, nauseating reference to difficulty in raising cash....the two just don't tie up. How can the bod blatantly keep referring to the failure of funding procurement as an excuse for lack of progress when they have a draw down facility of $80m on the table? Sirius Petroleum (Corvus website) Corvus Structured the reverse take over of Sirius Petroleum Plc in July 2008. Since that date the Company has raised $8.5 million via equity placements and has structured a facility with Capinvest to provide or procure debt funding to the Company of at least $80 Million. | htrocka2 |
