I've got Y amount of shares. In case you didn't know 10X = Y. If you've got a black cat I've got a blacker cat - if you've been to Tenerife, I've been to Elevenerife.

Ruedolf, Adventador, Bradshaw.

Please let me clarify for you all. I have been purchasing shares over the past 3 years in this company and very happily sit on X amount. I had also taken a view of not buying anymore as I have a nice round number.

I stated today "IF" the price goes down I would buy some more.

Do you seriously think I want the price going anywhere other than going UP??
This share has a past history of dropping so why shouldn't I be tempted if it went back down. It's called looking for VALUE and not just taking whats on offer, but squeezing as much out of my money as possible. If you do not view buying and selling in the same way, then you are fools.

Should the price stay where it is, I'll be sticking. Not that its any of your business, but after your rants I felt the need to at least defend my statement.

Have a pleasant weekend :)

Relying on buys/sells quoted on London South East (LSE) is fatal!
Just done a dummy sell for 2.5mn. and was offered .3738p..
Can the 13:24 trade at 0.40p. be a sell? . . . . . I think not.

In my expert opinion I can see that the squiggly blue line appears to be gradually going up therefore I think that's a good thing and it bodes well for the future.

'If the price drops, I'll take around 400k'...

The price has already been on the deck and you had plenty of opportunity to buy at 0.25p. Had you done so, you would have now been 64% up.....and I doubt you'd be screaming for the price to drop now. If you're waiting for the price to drop....sell what you have now.

With a grand to spend, a sudden sharp dip to 0.0001p would get me 100 million shares. If it goes up to 1p, my grand only gets me 100 thousand.

Spot on, we want this going up not down, we just need some news now to back up the rumours and keep this rise sustained.

I can't stand when people post that they want the price to go down so they can buy more. What a complete load of rubbish - we've bought these shares to increase in value not to go bloody down!! It's dirt cheap now anyhow so buy in at these levels - I've never heard such nonsense in my life. Get the job done Sirius and let us see a decent increase at long last so most of us can get out of this dire share.

I agree with Ht

... I don't know why some folks wish the price to go back down so they can buy in again..... its being a hard slog to get the price to .4p ... which as long termers well know ... is still only one tenth of the price it was a few years ago.

With the oil price now north of $50 dollars a barrel ... the company is running out of excuses.

Three wells at ororo would be nicely profitable at $50 dollars a barrel....for example say at $20 a barrel cash profit by 88% of 6000 a day amounts to an annual cashflow of $38 million. Easily enough to pay back drilling costs within 12 months... so it beats me as to what is holding up the funding deal.

... With just about every excuse sorted from oil price to licence security ...one can only conclude that the guys at srsp are still on their holidays likely until the end of august ... its about time they forget about their holidays ... come back ... and sign up the funding deal that's being gathering dust on their desk over the last few months and finally get the show on the road.

Assuming we are indeed exclusive technical & financial partner to Ondo state and there's no planned RTO with Owena, one imagines that this would result in much lower preferential farm in fees, but might it completely negate them altogether?

For example with Owena holding 80% of 241, if Sirius was able to negotiate 40% on proviso that we undertake all the technical work and line up significant development funding to get to first oil, might Ondo/Owena consider this huge step forwards (on top of still retaining 40%) enough to sacrifice a big farm-in? I would hope so.

We could then follow the stated JV strategy and invite a partner to take half of our block equity in return for initial development funding (just for argument sake let's say $100m) and their expertise. As such we end up with Owena holding 40%, Sirius 20%, JV partner 20% and Oilworld 20%. The latter might potentially be bought out at some future point, but this probably would demand hefty compensation.

Securing 20% of a highly prospective gas & oil block 'for free' would be great for Sirius and would probably also represent very good business for a JV partner who can only access this via Sirius, especially when considering that after further appraisal & development work, that 20% equity would be worth considerably more than the initial payment. Obviously the higher the initial percentage we can negotiate from Owena, the better.

In the current climate $100m would stretch a long way too, ensuring a number of appraisal wells drilled and moving to oil flowing. Much larger Reserves Based Lending kicking in at some point to really accelerate everything. Repeat the same strategy simultaneously on other assets with the same/other partners and you can see how this could quite rapidly turn into a very substantial entity. A group with significant 2P reserves and with interests across multiple Ondo offshore assets.

All speculative I know, but it's how I see things working based on the RNS info if we do indeed go down the E&P route.

With respect themOse.... I hope it doesn't drop to below 0.385p the current 200 MDA...as the chart is looking very good at the moment and poised to go higher having recently broken the 200 MDA.

The Tory set just outside Oxford dictates share price movement. A world away from an oil field in Nigeria. At some point the 2 will come together.

If oil is on the up and Opec give the right signal then oil service charges
will also start to rise so this would be another reason to act now.
Pewrhaps this is why Schlumberger take some of there fees in other ways

ropot.

That's an interesting comment....

'Possibly. I just wondered as the RNSs tend to mention that fundraising participants are existing holders, so wasn't sure how they get involved, or know one is due'

An existing shareholder to buy an extra 200m shares at 0.25p....has got to be itk and confident of his investment......(as it proves to be turning out)......as the old saying goes, 'follow the money'
