I'm on a bit of a 'need to know' and wondered if you lads could help me. About July, BOBO made a statement suggesting that ORORO might be drilled by the end of this year or Easter 2016....I can't seem to locate that statement....and just wondered if it has been 'pulled'?. Thanks in advance.

Quite simple no funding no oil clearly an issue getting a good deal with funding as soon as its announced its all systems go, no issues with licenses or havoc wouldn't be still here.Pain in the back side yes but soon as this funding is sorted this will absolutely rocket.

many, many apologies(I was in a bit of a hurry) ...but if SRSP were to emulate AFREN at £1.6BN...then the £60m into £1.6bn would be 23 times the 2p....that's an share price of 46p.

I'm just going to stick with my randomly chosen round number of 20p.

But it's all fantasy guesswork until we are told proper resource figures.

In previous company takeovers, how is the resource valued, i.e. ?? GBP per barrel?

At £1 per barrel with 3bn shares, a resource of 3bn barrels = £1 share price
At 50p per barrel with 3bn shares, a resource of 3bn barrels = 50p share price
At £1 per barrel with 3bn shares, a resource of 1.5bn barrels = 50p share price
At £1 per barrel with 3bn shares, a resource of 600m barrels = 20p share price
At 50p per barrel with 3bn shares, a resource of 600m barrels = 10p share price

etc.

You could pretty much play around with different permutations of the above calculations until the cows come home!

Obviously the unknown factors include total size of the assets, what level they have been proven up to, how much value is assigned per barrel, and how many shares will be in issue... which is pretty much everything we don't yet know.

What other factors come into play?
How much the purchasing company wants to pay in total?
Further development costs?
% tax to Nigerians?
etc...

But those calcs would mean that 2p is equal to 60 and 10p would be 300 mil.

So would need 600 million for 20p not the 50p that has been talked about.

I would take the 20p happily although would have been nice to be greedy and get the 50p.

Come on Regan REVEAL YOURSELF.

Let the dingle see the dangle.

This is my take on the situation....(round numbers) currently about 1.3bn shares in issue, added to this will be an extra 600m (the 12% to the bod, the 6% the employees, HAVOCs warrant cover and the 350m to ,I assume, the ORORO farm I partners)so we're up to 1.9bn...then the issue for the 'big one' takes it up to 3bn. For HAVOC to exercise their warrant at 2p = 3bn at 2p comes to £60m. AFREN were 10 times that amount this time last year. IF all that is promised materialises, then £60m will be chicken feed.....

Sp will be driven upwards in multiples on the next bunch of rnss, then the barrowloads of confetti will be made available for their ii friends, so allowing certain key insiders to exit with cash.

'So we are looking at 2.338 billion shares with almost 50 % dilution from here.'

That's not the way I see it.

In view of the fact that the board have issued themselves 12% of the company with a further 6% going to employees based on the current shares in issue,it sounds to me that the additional 1,100,000k shares, to be issued up to 5 Aug 2016, are to be utilised for a specific purpose. My bet is that they'll do as they have stated, ie, ORORO first,(by Easter 2016) then the 'big one'....this is where the additional shares come in.....nothing to worry about. When ORORO is up and running and pumping oil, the current valuation on the 1.3bn shares will be multiples of todays share price News of moving onto the 'big one' the share price will look after itself. The 'big one', what ever it is, will be 88% of SRSPs valuation, which implies that srsp's interest in the project will be about 7.3 times larger than ORORO and the extra shares will go to J/V partners in the new field . They said at the AGM that they're in talks with African Operating entities (all my opinion of course)

ps... I'm fairly certain that the 1,100,000k extra shares will NOT be issued until AFTER Ororo is up and running.

Ropot ...only when everyone that needs to be onboard is onboard and then logic says that will be the time ....frustrating as it is I think we will see 0.5 before that happens but as someone said earlier take advantage and fill yer boots when it gets to that price ...the reason it will get to that price is because others are filling their boots but on a much larger scale.....stinks really as a lot will sell out ............greed and fear !!

Sirius 40% share of 241 alone is worth more than $1bn. That would value the block at $2.5bn.
Remember that PGS and Schlumberger have been working on it for 3 years now.
