Chris... I'm not sure what's happening...for some strange reason Guarantee Petroleum, the major share holder in ORORO, seem to be out of the picture.

Think more news must follow, good rns yesterday, all is on track, just a little more time to wait, end of sept is when the biggy is due!
Wonder how the market will react today! still buying opportunity here at these discounted levels! TC1

HTRocka, Are you indicating that the GP problem has been sorted, you are certainly more upbeat in terms of not going on about this license issue.

And it would be very nice indeed if this new era was initiated early buys. Better still an RNS but that I think is too much to hope for, although it could come at any time, given our BoD opted not to set a due date.

Curiously and coincidentally it would appear from the article that 'Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Total SA and Eni SpA have also complained about 'unrest' regarding onshore and shallow off shore oil fields. It's not just SRSP that have had the thumb screws applied....but would seems to be an orchestrated effort,....and I quote, by the 'most corrupt ministry in Nigeria'. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new era.

This is the article I tried to locate this morning....I just wondered if Chevron are referring to OML 95?

(sounds to me as if the Oil Ministry are creating the 'unrest' to feather their own nests.......however, they should be history tomorrow.......The Oil Minister will still be in London when she learns about her fate, she'll be able to have an extended stay and do a bit of sight seeing ( and checking bank statements))

'Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Chevron Corp., Total SA and Eni SpA are among those divesting interests in onshore and shallow water oil fields plagued by unrest...'

Big day tomorrow for Nigeria...Buhari takes over full control and power...and the oil Ministry is his first target. Could be the reason for todays share price climb. You never know, there may have been some thumb screws applied by the soon to be 'old' Oil Ministry in exchange for a slice of the OML 95 pie that the bod refused to sign up to....that's prevented this from moving forward.....just a thought.

ps..I dropped a small clanger today in that Mimko, although technically still Governor of Ondo State, never the less, ALL 29 State Governors are sworn in tomorrow.

How come the trolls only came out the past couple of days with the drop in SP? Nowhere to be seen today when there's nothing to talk about. Shouldn't they still be doing their paymasters' work on here full time?

I'm in a small gold company and the share price was flat for about four months...then for no reason I could put my finger on...the share price went up dramatically...and sure enough...an rns came out a couple of days later.. Without a doubt, the AIM is a 'leaky ship'. They seem to be onto the intel long before it's in the public domain and we get to hear about it.
