Another point we've not been made aware of...you'd think that if there was an issue with or change in respect of contractual obligation regarding Guarantee Petroleum, the company would have issued an rns?

htrocka - I find it interesting that Guarantee were not mentioned in the rns 10/12/13

"Sirius has an economic interest of 40% and will now commence the initial development work on the field. This includes community relation initiatives with Owena Oil & Gas (the state government vehicle owned by Ondo State set up to hold interests in Ondo State's oil and gas assets), and seeking approval from the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) for the permits to undertake the drilling activities, which compromises well tests and well completions for the re-entry of Ororo-1 well."

I couldn't help but notice that in the original deal Guarantee Petroleum were designated as Operator of the field......it seems all has changed.

I came across an article this morning (lost it temporarily) that Chevron are divesting some Nigerian ' troublesome fields' as they called them (they didn't say which ones)

Jim Jam hints he's in the know
But what has he really got to show?
A handy touch at foreign rhyme
Is all

I surely hope he's in the know
Cos I am tired of those who blow
And shout that we are doomed
Is all

So, please Jim Jam come clean tonight
Reveal the truth, the time is right
PM me baby, give me the skinny
Is all

come Friday, she's history...

Maybe SRSP require some form of authorisation to proceed from the new regime?

'Her Ministry, reputed as being one of the most corrupt, is likely to be among the first to come under Buhari’s scrutiny.'

Buhari in seat 2k. The Nigeria Electricity Commission geezers were in 4k. Pretty amazing how she sneaked in with a last minute booking and got plonked into a vacant first class seat in the middle of the delegation. Urgently flying off to meet our Dave.

Pic emerging whereby a UK Company (Ophir-BG) supplies LNG to the new power stations and the new refineries. So where's all this new O&G coming from, otherwise?
