22/5/2015 10:58 | Shouldn't you instead be ramping SRSP, so you can get a better price for selling up? | ropot
22/5/2015 10:47 | I'm also a Hurricane Energy investor and received their Annual Report this morning. They rightly and proudly boast of their recent discovery of...470 MMboe of 2C and a further 442 MMboe P50 with the following Headlines.. "Hurricane has discovered more oil on the UKCS than any other oil company in the past ten years" Market Cap £105.8m (and they estimate it could take the next five years to get the oil out of the ground) This is from an SRSP rns...(in small print within a sub-paragraph) 'Pre-farm-in agreement entered into relating to an economic interest in a Nigerian Oil Block with prospective resources, estimated by a third party to be in excess of 1 billion barrels with additional unitisation interests;' Market Cap £11.23m I had hoped to sell a few HUR to buy more SRSP.....but, with a five year programme, it looks as if it's going to be the other way round. | htrocka2
22/5/2015 10:28 | I guess those already in here are waiting for end-game and aren't selling, and there's currently little to attract new investors, particularly with the prospect of further draw-downs. But, as stated in the RNS, those will be at 1p, hence why we're just flat-lining around this price. Periodic buys seem to be counteracted with some sells, maybe enough to drip feed some shares into the market to absorb the buys so as to keep the share price at this level. Don't want to draw attention to themselves with a rising share price With regard to Mr Htrocka's post above, whatever went on with CloudTag looks like it was to float an unlisted company on the stock exchange. Nice way to make a few bob. Hopefully, we'll be doing the opposite, and making a few bob from a T/O... Sirius then ceases to exist, so no lock-in as no company to be locked in to. | ropot
22/5/2015 10:07 | There are another 260 million shares waiting to be issued at 0.5p (entirely at the potential lenders discretion) ... not that such insignificant matters might keep a lid on any rise if they can prove they actually have anything by way of a viable business. From just prior to the de-list, you really couldn't make this story up!! | the drewster
22/5/2015 07:51 | Well its been a strange week still some strange trading and a flat line guess it beats a drop, the MM's can soon walk this back up whenever they choose just have to keep watch. | thundercat1
22/5/2015 07:25 | Related topic I was doing a bit of 'trawling' this morning and accidently came across the following. It's from the CloadTag site in which Corvus/Calvert have/had an interest.. (some interesting names came up.....same old faces)) ref 15 Apr'13 - 19:13 - 3 of 156 5) I have no idea who owns the shares in Corvus Capital or Calvet Int. Ltd as neither are listed as UK companies. 6) TD Wealth Inst. (UK) Nominees Ltd although a grand name, "The latest Annual Accounts submitted to Companies House for the year up to 31/10/2011 reported 'cash at bank' of £0, 'liabilities' worth £0, 'net worth' of £1 and 'assets' worth £1. TD Wealth Institutional Nominees (uk) Limited's risk score was amended on 19/02/2013." Previous names: Draysey & Wright Nominees Ltd changed Feb2006 to OMX Securities Nominees Ltd changed on 30 Oct 2009 to Corporate services (TD Waterhouse) Nominees Ltd changed on 25 Nov 2011 to current name. 7) Shareholders locked in to 12months, shares can be sold later, although some shareholders can sell after 90days of listing. Anyone who bought at 0.1p and sell at circa 20 would make a staggering x 2000 return. 8) An example, say Michael Hirschfield was to sell 50% of the initial shares he bought (cost £2,500) at say todays price of 18p he would receive £450,000 and that would be before anything has been proven!!! How long will it be before the company even makes that sort of profit!!! | htrocka2
22/5/2015 07:13 | More of the same how about an rns which makes the share price go back up that would be nice :) | thundercat1
21/5/2015 23:39 | You forgot to add the bit about funding to progress, htrocka2 , at long bloody last. I hope I am right, my friend | drrichard
21/5/2015 22:36 | I hope I'm wrong but I predict the next few rns's will be related to draw downs, equity issues, the hard working BOD and of course the obligatory...shareho | htrocka2
21/5/2015 21:24 | Olive was a real munter... hope she misses the bus altogether .... | minichris
21/5/2015 21:21 | Blakey told Stan and Jack they're doing overtime next month, just hope Olive stays on the sidecar with Arthur. | keysersosse

21/5/2015 13:42 | " omzy 21 May'15 - 12:16 - 33479 If this company does not suit your personal investment profile then don't invest. " Omzy, All well backed up scenarios are welcome ... this is what the BB is for ... but be prepared for those scenarios to be tested ... in lay mans terms " kick the tyres " to see if the theory stacks up. Was hoping your research could come up with a gold nugget answer to counter act the concerns raised .... but alas telling folks to sell up if they don't agree is not the answer we were hoping to for. | ruedolf
21/5/2015 13:11 | Ruedolf/htrocka - I have done my research, happy with what I have found, invested on the basis of it and I am now hopeful that in the not too distant future rewards will be forthcoming If this company does not suit your personal investment profile then don't invest a bit late for that advice now....I'm in to the end. There was a newspaper formed in the U.S a few years ago...and said it would only publish good news....18 months down the line it ceased trading. Let's hope this thread does not turn out to be a 'good news' only thread. | htrocka2
21/5/2015 12:16 | Ruedolf/htrocka - I have done my research, happy with what I have found, invested on the basis of it and I am now hopeful that in the not too distant future rewards will be forthcoming. From the re-admission doc:- "An investment in the Company is considered by the Directors to be relatively high risk. For this reason the Directors consider the Subscription to be best suited for an investor whose investment profile meets such criteria. The Investing Strategy is intended to be long-term." If this company does not suit your personal investment profile then don't invest. | omzy
21/5/2015 12:01 | If you don't like it stop moaning and sell up! | thundercat1
21/5/2015 11:57 | 'Sirius does not intend to make any significant capital expenditure in the Block, excluding farm-in fees, until it has realised revenue from the unitisation of the Field.' Another anomaly that I quite can't get my head round...how does one get 'Unitisation Revenue' without extracting oil? It's about this time that problems began to emerge. When SRSP first signed up with 'Owena' and 'Guarantee' every thing was 'hunky dory' and all looking forward to a positive and prosperous future. A few months after this rns....and Guarantee are reneging on the deal and suing Owena. | htrocka2
21/5/2015 11:20 | " omzy 20 May'15 - 17:56 - 33470 I am concluding there is hopefully no longer any problem regarding ownership of ororo. " Omzy, while the points raised are reasonable there not the full picture and only one side of the coin..... There are other concerns that point to ongoing issues re ororo 1) record low share price 2) ongoing delays and aborted attempts to get ororo into production 3) agreements entered onto and then aborted ie Glencore 4) Gaurantee petroleum website saying agreement terminated 5) The DPR proposing to withdraw the licence from Gaurantee petroleum due to non development 6) state company Owena oil and gas website stating Gaurantee petroleum as 55% partner in ororo and no mention of srsp. .... Until srsp are seen in a state official website or document as part owners of ororo ...... the market will not be satisfied that the ororo issue is ' no longer a problem' | ruedolf
21/5/2015 09:59 | omzy...let's just assume all those publication involving Owena are false and not true...however, many serious accusations have been made publicly in pursuance of claim to OML 95 and must now be addressed. The ownership of the field may have been put on the backburner and superseded by charges of slander....all of which are related to the case in hand and may be the cause of the delay in reaching a resolution. | htrocka2
21/5/2015 08:50 | Any fool buying this stock will only feed the one's getting out and there are a lot to say the least ;) | granitetim
21/5/2015 08:46 | I think the post 33460 was spot on. | chris shiherlis |
