I agree Turvart. We brits have lost our mojo, our staying power, our wish to triumph over adversity. If so many hadn't caved in the scumbag shorters would not have been able to drive the price so low. Eurotunnel would not have been built today - we run scared of anything risky. Funds make easy money by shorting and destroying value, not by investing. The Sirius minerals project is vital for the people of Whitby and the North East of England. It's time a backer is found. Staying in and adding. Bring it on.

I might buy into this Tomo, I love the underdog story with multibag returns! and not much to lose.

If next year's prediction game is going to be boring due to many zero's, perhaps the tie breaker could be the date of share suspension.

".......as to how this company will turn things around."

Don't think that's going to happen.

John you really are embarrassing yourself. I fail to understand how anyone would listen to anything you say. All you do is send hyperlinks and never answer any valid questions put to you. I suggest people on here filter you (only once mind), as you don't make any valid points, as to how this company will turn things around.

I see the Johnwise geezer reckons now the EU shackles are off then the government can step in .... wrong Johnstupid ... we are still subject to all the rules until at least December 2020 . Still no finance in place and the cash running down paying the directors wages and bonuses .

Everyone seems to be upsetting John - think he's filtered most on here about 10 times so far. He still doesn't realise he only needs to filter each person once. I don't think anyone is interested who he's filtered, I think he should just stay on his own board haha.

Can I take zero for the 2020 year-end share price competition please?

================

Ok, here we go...………this is for the share price at end of 2020. It may assume that a consolidation has occurred....or that one the major mining companies has come in and the share has been re-structured.

IF SXX IS LISTED......THIS IS YOUR PRICE.

I feel zero pence is going to be popular.....so we will change the rules so that more that one person can be on the same number.

Entries so far...….show a wide spread between CF and the shorters…̷0;...but I guess that's always been the way.

Serious entries only please.

john - is there any UK "systemic" "failed" project above 1 bn that was saved by "public means" in the past 10 years - so I can read on? tia

otherwise the project will progress - but after the restructuring costing equity and bond holders most of it

Revealed: How Boris’s post-Brexit plan could add £9bn a year and create THOUSANDS of jobs

After Brexit, the Prime Minister is planning to create duty-free ports, especially in northern England, which could potentially turn the whole of Britain into a “Singapore-on-Thames”.

Amusing extract from Times Business News article on "Dear Santa" letters:

Dear Santa,

I confess, I have not been a very good “buy” this year. I promise I haven’t been naughty — but the markets just haven’t been nice, and my company’s share price has fallen like a sack of coal. It’s down more than 80 per cent since last Christmas.

Now, Santa, I know you decided the $3.8 billion I asked for last year was too much, and it turns out everyone else thought so too. So I’ve rewritten my list. All I want for Christmas this year is a mere $600 million.

Just think of the joy you would bring. Half of North Yorkshire has invested in my fertilising dream. In fact, quite a few of them have put their life savings into Sirius Minerals. I know this because they keep emailing to tell me.

The truth is, Santa, if I don’t get what I ask for this Christmas, that might be the end for Sirius. This time next year I might be asking for your help to fill that deep hole I’ve dug under the moor.

I’ve tried writing to the UK government for help. I’ve even tried putting my faith in JP Morgan. No dice. So Santa, please: I really do need a Christmas miracle. And if you can’t stretch to $600 million, then at least grant me one little Christmas wish: make those bloody emails stop.

Yours hopefully,

Chris Fraser (age 45½), chief executive Sirius Minerals
