The current shareholders will get nothing - first it will go bust then a rescue plan will be setup and and whoever gets it will get it for next to nothing. It's ruthless, but they won't care.

With the mining projects going on around the world that state of the art equipment will be snapped up and very likely not by a new buyer, imagine the lead time on trying to order something like that, it would cause a massive delay.

They'll just wait till it bust and get equipment and everything else for practically nothing. A few new contracts to sort out maybe, but they would be saving so much money. They're not going to want to have to bother with shareholders.

Sirius wont be going bust a large player will inject the funds needed for a percentage of the company, to much money and planning has gone into this before a mound of earth was moved, like all big projects they often get the funding wrong. To people who think another company can pick up the peices cheap if it folded imagine the contracts that would need re-negotiating, the sub contractors that may have gone into liquidation the suppliers that have been burnt, The new costs would be higher the equipment would need a major overhaul before it could start wotk again.Much easier to inject the cash
