A snippet from the flip flopper at motley fools. Funny Im sure I read a Otley article a couple weeks ago about this share doubling on this news!Unfortunately, today's placing may just be the start of the dilution. Sirius is also going to issue $644m of new convertible bonds, due in 2027. This will raise $400m of new cash and allow the group to refinance $244m of existing bonds.Convertible bonds can be converted into shares, hence the name. The conversion price is expected to be somewhere between 18p and 22.5p. So if the Sirius share price heads upwards in future years, bondholders may choose to convert their bonds into shares. If all the bonds are converted, I estimate that about 2.4bn new shares might be issued, adding a further 35% to Sirius's share count.Overall, my sums suggest that the placing and convertible bonds could reduce the value of each existing Sirius share by nearly 50%.

john we all know the potential revenue,

what is more important is the dilution effect and the delay to any decent share price rise,

what you are posting about is years away and despite good revenue, we have far too many shares in issue now, to allow a amazing potential gain here anymore imo.

cord why dont you just look for stocks that can give you a 50 to 100 fold return instead of looking for 20% here and there??

i think there could be sporadic buying opportunities below 16p in the months ahead but not today. i'm sitting on a holding that cost 20.06p a share including fees, and i owe no loyalty to it.

Sirius POLY4 product each year once production begins. At an average assumed price on the world market of $198/tonne for the new POLY4 product, that represents a gross annual turnover of nearly $1 billion, rising to $2.6 billion at a capacity of 13 million tonne, capacity target now increased to 20 million tons a year

Not really. Sell them at 18, buy them back on the issue at less.

Datait2 so you haven’t come across them ? There producing gold and are set to treble production in the next 2 years .

I don’t usually invest in mining I normally concentrate on pharmaceutical and the service sector with about 10% resource stocks.

I'm guessing the dilution still not fully priced in.
A Buy below 17p.
A Sell above 22p.
Add about 4% to those targets for each month ahead of build schedule and vice versa.
8 to 10 year investment horizon required.

Corbyn might well go for that because if he gets in the market will absolutely tank and we will all make a fortune from shorting the market. It will be the easiest trade in history.

If you want to change you have to change something....keep voting Labour & Cons and then we might as well just commit mass suicide, cos they're killing us all anyways
