SQ, you're missing the banter in the wee hours. It would appear to be true, your observation.

I believe it's a waste of time shorting SXX in the short term. Once the news breaks in the next few months the share price will go much higher. After the news may be worth shorters playing their game in between build updates. As for bond holders, it doesn't seem worth trying to hold the price back for £1340 p.m. Interest payments, for a couple more months. Might as well let it go to 43p and convert.

Shorts are going to increase more meaningfully in the next week or so as those established on the higher volume days from the beginning of the month filter through. Will be interesting to see if any further CB conversions have gone through; will be possible to calculate this if sirius update their issued share cap at month end. I think this likely.

For those who like to know about the SHORTERS one has Highbridge Capital Managers on 2.0%+ with SXX and they have been shorting this on and off since early 2017.

Not going to be too specific other than I expect the options trigger price to be easily exceeded and à following low of around 37p.

Next year will be difficult due to little real news and the approach of the aquifer.

History never repeats but it does rhyme. Difference between this year and 2016 is that the rise is due to a successful stg1 and that sirius now has a sizeable investment that is being transformed into fixed assets.

2016 was an encouraged run up to the necessary equity / CB / etc fundraise that got the project's wheels off the ground. Gaining altitude is, as i understand, more straightforward than getting airborne in the first place.

TAM,

So you think it's going to the mid-40s then to under 20?

Still on for a repeat of 2016, near identical chart.

‘Free Ports’ to Give UK $9 Billion Boost?

Hartlepool is one area that could benefit from a ‘supercharged’ port, and MP Mike Hill said: “I very much welcome the proposed introduction of a ‘supercharged’ free port covering Tees and Hartlepool.

“As we leave the EU it is vital that we maximise our global trading potential. There is plenty of talk about rebalancing the UK economy towards the North, but not enough action.”
