27/3/2018 19:54 | It is not a scam. If I wanted to buy £10M worth of this stock I would do exactly the same. Why should a committed buyer of large quantities of this stock be subject to the irrational behaviour of day traders. Shaking the tree is just taking the bid away for a while. Sound tactics. | eurofox
27/3/2018 18:37 | It's called shaking the tree Euro | dayder1

27/3/2018 16:52 | you have to admire the way in which the order book is managed, with a shakeout of day traders and the less committed holders between 16.00 and 16.30 pm, carefully allowing the price to rise only modestly (I much prefer it this way) whilst continually absorbing sells via buys being made on the bid. perfectly executed. | eurofox

27/3/2018 10:43 | it depends whether the broker you deal through is taking part in the accumulation of stock already for such a big buyer - if they are, then they may take your limit order but won't fill it in preference to the big buyer. the only reliable way to get onto the order book is to contract for Direct Market Access - not sure who provides that at the moment, but their are tough qualification and deposit/banking criteria usually. | eurofox
27/3/2018 10:36 | How do you buy off the bid... Put limit order in? | muffster
27/3/2018 10:23 | this share is being bought off the bid - big time. anyone with DMA can put bids on the orderbook simply siphoning up shares - which is why we're seeing gradual rises when apparent sells outnumber the buys (which ordinary mortals are making through the offer). | eurofox
