Share price reflects the debt situation here. Don't think the company will be able to develop Uskmouth further and expand Meygen. There is value here but the bond and other debt repayments can't be deferred for ever. Monetising or selling Uskmouth is key

Good to see the BESS project number 2 progressing. They think they can get 1GWh of storage on Uskmouth. Would need grid upgrades etc but that would make the site pretty valuable based on the rent deal they have for the 230MWh BESS project number 1 with Quinbrook

Abundance Bonds

Further to the Company's announcement on 23 February 2023, SAE is pleased to announce that Atlantis Future Energy debenture holders have approved the amendment to the 2018 debenture deed, which will:

-- Extend the maturity date from 31 March 2023 to 31 March 2024, and
-- Increase the interest rate paid on the bonds from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 to 10% per annum.

BESS at Uskmouth

SAE is pleased to report that good progress is being made on the additional 120MW Uskmouth BESS project, which re-uses the site of the old cooling towers. SAE is aiming to agree terms with a developer this year and to secure planning in Q1 2024.

Crucial few weeks. If they get the Quinbrook lease signed at Uskmouth that releases 4m cash payment and they are hoping to monetise ie sell the lease income to a third party for c11m. That would allow them to pay off the debentures due for repayment this year and give them some breathing space. But not the best timing so all may not go smoothly. Expecting some sharp moves

As expected BESS deals should clear the debentures. New debenture offering later this year. Meygen opportunity needs more explaining to investors

I'm keeping an eye on a few sources , hopefully the boat should be sailing soon to pick up the fourth turbine. Should give us over 1GWh a month then.

50gw and all 4 turbines have barely all been in the water, what with research and development W0W huge potential in tidal has been demonstrated. I think a lot of II's are now seriously considering this share.Gluck all.

Hopefully financial close on Quinbrook BESS deal soon triggering cash payment and rental flow. That should help clear debt. They might even sell Uskmouth, ditch the energy conversion ideas and completely refocus on Meygen and the big CFD opportunity. Now that would be interesting

I'm very surprised that the company choose not to issue an rns regarding the above. There has still been a steady stream of buying all morning and the price has risen by 5.3% to 1.50p.

Why would the O&G players invest in tidal which can offer baseload, when they get to sell their O&G at a premium when the wind drops.

Must say it has been very annoying to find the Welsh bunch putting a spanner in the works at Uskmouth , burning wood pellets / rubbish is no big deal on the co2 issues , just look at DRAX , shipping in millions of tons of wood pellets from Canada and at the same time receiving £ millions of subsidies from Richie and his bunch of mates.

Very true. The oil and gas lobby on the other hand is going from strength to strength, billions upon billions added to their coffers. Meanwhile the planet goes to hell in a handcart.

Tidal lobby is non existent. No major players to provide $$$ so not on any political or investors minds.

Low winds at the moment so coal plants have been placed on standby. When will they learn that tidal energy is far more dependable ?
