17/10/2012 11:20 | A new FD usually is followed by a fundraising | buywell2
14/10/2012 20:36 | I'm 66 next week Eagle....Oh God!!!! Congrats. on the big 50 next month. Good luck with the full triathlon....I thought a marathon was hard enough! 4 hours 7 minutes was my best,so very average. Golf, bowls, walking and our boat keep us fit now....in a more gentle way. Take care and good luck Geoff | geoffmanana
13/10/2012 21:59 | Snap! I did it three times as well. Just about to turn the big 50 next month and now focused on doing a full Triathlon within the next year. Shame about your crook knees mate, might have cajoled you into a trans global challenge where you do the docklands tri and I'll do the gold coast one! Better stick to golf and traveling instead methinks. Eagle | ukeagle2aus
12/10/2012 14:38 | Done that 3 times Eagle.....not any more.dodgy knees,new hip,too old etc etc. edit Sounds a bit like SLN | geoffmanana
12/10/2012 13:18 | I don't know about another run Geoff, I need a London Marathon! Eag | ukeagle2aus
12/10/2012 11:22 | More buying interest. Perhaps we are due another run. | geoffmanana
11/10/2012 23:57 | They ahd to offer a portion to the old shareholders and clearly didnt want to issue anymore then they ahd to at the low orice. This maybe harsh on the shareholders but it speaks volumes about what the new buyers and board felt the shares were worth.Flude I am afriad that is the problem for small shareholders;the upside is ou are able to buy and sell whenever you want.My view is we are at the beginning of an exciting journey. | amiright
10/10/2012 15:22 | Oh why didn't I invest in SUMM? Hopefully our day will come. | billthebank
10/10/2012 08:03 | Seems strange that the options on the offer were to take your allocation or subscribe for more. We then find we weren't allowed to subscribe for more. I have taken open offers in the past, asked for more than my allocation and received either what I requested or a proportion of what I requested. Presumably 100% of the shares were offered because that was the amount of money they wanted to raise at that moment in time. They raised half that despite people wanting to buy more. It seems therefore to be a flawed process. The FD's answer to my query as to why the issue was undersubscribed was "... that the places were big holders already". Not sure what that means but as it was sent from his mobile it may be abbreviated somewhat. Of course if the share price had plummeted after the issue (as so often happens) then I would have been pleased to have been unsuccessful! | fludde
09/10/2012 18:57 | There was no opportunity to oversubscribe deliberately and under the terms of the issue several holders were committed to the issue and had to agree to not take shares in the entitlement offer. To me this simply shows thye felt the issue was cheap and didnt want unnecessary dilution. The last issue at 2p had oversubscription and it still wasnt fully subscribed. | amiright
09/10/2012 12:00 | That would explain why they only managed to shift 49.1% of the shares they tried to issue. Sounds like a screw up somewhere along the line. | fludde
09/10/2012 11:54 | yes got my quota but no excess..reason as above | colsound
09/10/2012 09:01 | Did anyone else apply for more than their quota in the open offer and not get any because "there was no room for any excess entitlement to the Open Offer by Silence Therapeutics (SLN)" As the offer was under subscribed this seems unlikely. | fludde
08/10/2012 11:38 | Hey Doc hope you're well? Shouldn't waste you're efforts on BW. This stock never stops surprising me. Hope I am wrong, but can't see it getting anywhere near the mid 20s I need for my ache, but nice to claw some back and more important that the results get closer to finding some tangible treatment options for those in dire need. GL all. Eagle | ukeagle2aus
05/10/2012 21:10 | Bill, no more for me, I am sitting mid 20's and will take whatever comes our way. I could chase a bit of PT, but always away from home these days and not enough control of my portfolio, to react quickly enough. Just happy to get to the airport Friday night and check in to the weeks events. Good week overall this week. Off to golf now. GLA Eag | ukeagle2aus
05/10/2012 18:26 | After these runs it often consolidates 10% or so before moving higher. We're still on the first tee in this one;plenty to come I expect. This Ali Mortazavi knows what he's doing. You dont get to be one of the top chess players without being smart and he had a long track reocrd in the city as a trader. | amiright
05/10/2012 16:17 | quite glad that SLN have taken a breather Still believe there is momentum here & that 33% growth can be achieved this year. Time will tell Eagle have u topped up yet or is ur avarage still a tad on the high side? | billthebank
05/10/2012 12:51 | I guess if I could be bothered to look back in the past year or more I might have found when I originally did this. buywell2 5 Oct'12 - 07:30 - 46307 of 46314 (Filtered) Sussed you out long ago champ, don't bother retorting to me, I can't see what you're driveling about. 05/10/2012 10:52 | Buying some back at 3.23p doesn't seem too bad now...... | geoffmanana
05/10/2012 09:21 | Too early for me Charlie! | geoffmanana
