27/11/2012 18:29 | Quite often Dirk lest the information come out of the wrong bit.I will be very surprised if he's right and the Germans at Silence are wrong.he's sitting in the middle of no where shooting from the hip most of the time, apparently besotted with Tekmira at the xpense of everyone else.No wonder less and ess appear to take him or the blog seriiously. | amiright
27/11/2012 00:34 | Not sure Bill, I will look with interest though when sufficiently awake. | algernon2
27/11/2012 00:30 | Any idea if we will see an impact in the morning? | billthebank
26/11/2012 23:59 | Tuschl Patents Stage Remarkable Comeback in US "Among those without RNAi trigger licenses from Alnylam, Silence Therapeutics (and its partners, especially Quark) should be hit particularly hard by the latest development: 19bp RNAi triggers are no place to hide any more." see the full article here:from Dirks latest blog on approx fourth paragraph down. | algernon2
22/11/2012 14:20 | Interesting times I will need to have a look at what trades are going on here Can't believe we have jumped to 3.4 Surprised but happy. | billthebank
22/11/2012 14:14 | I suspect the fund raising is for development of Atu 111, for which the Company announced significant pre-clinical data in acute lung injury in September. I understood at the time that it would take a million Euros just to complete pre-clinical trials and that this was not allowed for in the previous fund-raising. | aquilla
22/11/2012 12:56 | they will need it though, so it's prudent to raise now that the share price is higher than it was! Stuart14 21 Nov'12 - 16:55 - 46393 of 46397 0 0 Interesting that they are raising money again so soon. They can't need it, so there is another story here somewhere | the_doctor
22/11/2012 08:31 | Stuart have been in these for a very long time when the share price was many multiples of where they are today so personally I truly hope u r correct Have to admit the co has done well of late so hope this continues There does appear to be some momentum & also some weighty shareholders behind this Time will tell. | billthebank
22/11/2012 08:22 | In chart terms I have taken the view that the recent retest has given some support at the 2.62p level, so will feel more comfortable increasing my holding from here. | gerri-c
21/11/2012 20:57 | With the market cap now around £50m, (compared to a £4m cap a few months ago when SLN was effectively stolen from the existing holders) it may be a good time to bring in some new money. It should avoid a repeat of the last fundraising debacle. | effy123
21/11/2012 19:27 | Hmmm, let's hope it is 10% or under. Though I don't welcome any dilution as an underwater long termer a little would be preferable to a lot. All depends on what they plan to use the money for.. won't grumble if it helps the share price in the short to medium term but remains to be seen. Could actually be good to see them broaden their scope beyond ATU027, good as it potentially is... | rikky72

21/11/2012 10:36 | as it doesnt need shareholder approval its probably quite small. i.e. under 10%. so minimal impact. market obviously knew hence the drop last week. should get a bounce no was its small | mrsapeslaptop
21/11/2012 08:31 | I can't see how this is good news My holding will be further diluted although some existing shareholders (NOT ME!) will have the oppo to buy in at presumably a lower price than we are placed ar presently OK there is a partner but still don't see this as good news Market however has reacted positively so I gues I know diddley squat | billthebank
21/11/2012 08:11 | Could the new partner be Quark perhaps after their failure to float? | callumross
21/11/2012 08:05 | Wow! This is a bit more like it!! Saves getting caught when times are really tough, especially when it is caused by not taking advantage of a positive period. More power to the new management!! Wonder who the partner is and could this be linked to a new or further extension of a current partnership. Lets wait and see!!!!! BB | barrieb

05/11/2012 14:16 | I hope so, I was really meaning short termers, bagging a few pips, and off. | benson384
05/11/2012 13:41 | I believe the major players will not allow serious drifting in the share price Starting to look as if this has some momentum. | billthebank
05/11/2012 11:28 | Yes, but I reckon they may drift off as patents are not as good as results of trials.............. | benson384
05/11/2012 10:28 | News looks very promising. | gerri-c |
