03/12/2008 10:51 | After what the Russians did to them recently ? I dont think so. | cyberpost
03/12/2008 10:49 | wonder if shell might just take over | need_2_b_brave
03/12/2008 10:46 | I think Shareholders had better activate the Sibir Men ! | rbonnier
03/12/2008 10:42 | Kibes, thanks for that. Just shows how these Russians mindset is like. Total disregard for shareholders. As you have implied, Tchig is just using Sibr to get him out of his woes - not giving a hoot the massive damage it has done to other shareholders wealth. So long as he is ok, to hell with other shareholders. | cyberpost
03/12/2008 10:40 | dorset, there is no link to show Plus trades...so not there. | sportbilly1976
03/12/2008 10:30 | squinty, absolutely no way!! It will go through. Is this traded on another exchange as I still cannot see my buys of an hour ago on the trade pages. | dorset64
03/12/2008 10:29 | Majority shareholders mean they can do what they like with it, seemingly. Total con, total scandal, totally typical for AIM, sadly. We've all been taken for the mugs we are. | spectoacc
03/12/2008 10:28 | cyberpost - there is no way Tchigirinsky is going to dump his stock. He controls more than 50% and is going to keep it that way. If he wants cash from Sibir he will take it and other shareholders can't stop him. He saved the company from certain ruin a few years back and now it is payback time. It is his company as far as he is concerned. But if he goes bust he may drag Sibir down with him. | kibes
03/12/2008 10:27 | Have shareholders got enough clout to stop this purchase going through? | squintyflinty
03/12/2008 10:27 | sport, its now offered at 50.5p to sell, 47.5p to buy! I will look to take a profit at some stage, he says hopefully!!! | dorset64
03/12/2008 10:27 | The problem is that if the director had margin calls etc when the price was at £1+ and buying the hotel helps, that has just been wiped out by the drop to 40p. Someone should just buy them all out for next to nothing and throw them all out. | eug
03/12/2008 10:26 | dorset64, Hope you take your 20% at 50p...... | sportbilly1976
03/12/2008 10:23 | it is one of the biggest asset price deflationary periods in history.. , the current prices shold reflect the CURRENT status quo .. saffy.. property, not the best investment at all over the next 12 months.. | safman
03/12/2008 10:20 | cant buy more than a 1000 shares online. bought some for a quick gamble | 1delboy
03/12/2008 10:18 | SBE will get swung around/dcb'd by the MMs no doubt. But SBE should stand testament to everything AIM stands for. | spectoacc
03/12/2008 10:18 | They were c.$450m in debt at the interim stage. And they are about to take $213m more. So total debts of nearly $700m. The company should have just let the director dump his stock and let market forces take its course. Their latest actions have totally ruined any confidence the market had in the company and its management. | cyberpost
03/12/2008 10:17 | Agreed Hattori. One newly acquired "asset"(and i use that term very loosely) is "the Russia Tower, a 6OO-metre (1,970 foot)steel-and-glass symbol of new Russian wealth and power designed by Norman Foster to be Europe's tallest building, which was halted last month due to a lack of funding. " Symbol of power and wealth that they can't afford to finish.? In the current climate property is a liability shareholders should not be taking on. | davros006
03/12/2008 10:15 | mm's acting on fear, and there's alot of that about currently. | dorset64
03/12/2008 10:15 | peter, the drop is not related to the volume...but the news & proposed new business model they have adopted.... An oil company buying property assets from a director to help him out of the sh!t....and paying over the odds for them too !! | sportbilly1976
03/12/2008 10:13 | 1.5 mill shares traded and a drop of 60% ???? | peterlowen
03/12/2008 10:13 | What the hell, I had a punt @ 40p. Life's a gamble!! | dorset64
03/12/2008 10:08 | f88k me...that was short & sweet!! 40p seems to have gathered a bit of support... | sportbilly1976 |
