We wait for the next leg up

FDA approval of Accrufer and minor adjustments to the model increased our sum-of- the-parts valuation for STX to £221m or 189p per share (from £194m/166p). A commercialisation deal with a US partner will be the next major inflection point, at which point we will upgrade our model to allow for the agreed deal terms.

Hello, 2theduke, wasn’t suggesting you were negative, in fact I was thinking myself why so many presentations but as I haven’t seen any serious selling, I am very positive of a successful US commercialization deal being announced this quarter, possibly next month.

There are always a few sellers for any number of reasons but the levels are very low

Hi NY, the house marketing team is quite responsive and I get regular enough correspondence from them. I've not thought to approach the broker.
It's not a negative comment I'm making, I just don't see the point. Especially as the original invite stated on it that "no new market information " will be provided in this update.
Who knows,however I can't image why anyone would sell now - unless they think somehow that this is actually a failed commercial product that can not penetrate due to querks in doctors payments. I do not think that, for me, this should be purchased by a competitor or big co before it signs up any deals :-/

2theduke, are you invested here, if so from before or after the FDA rise?

Maybe address your concerns to their house brokers, they are quite responsive?

I’m happy to continue to hold, I have been accumulating (NFX) on pull backs but again a long term hold, somewhat interesting but obviously much more risky at this stage of their development. Dyor as usual GLA

I'm not sure about the number of investor presentations. What more is there to say, and how much exposure is really going to be gained?
Also, I do not think they're that popular given the above.
Just seems an odd use of time, normally I would be pro management time and meetings, but here I'm just not sure of the rationale.

knowing, not sure if you are invested here but there is no rush, relax, do a bit of gardening, go on holiday, most of the time investing can be quite tedious, here we are just waiting for the US commercialization deal for the next leg up, which we are expecting anytime this quarter.

The usual weird price action, sometimes not even worth checking, a bit of market rotation going on today, waiting for GE news I guess.

Not that is would have much bearing on the path of this stock.

Also a safe haven hold, if global markets start to unwind next month.
