01/12/2022 17:30 | Oh for goodness sake £100k worth of shares in a company this size is a serious purchase | hybrasil
01/12/2022 16:41 | Thi is a commonplace and cynical ploy by companies that are in trouble and have lost investor confidence (which SWG surely has). Throwing £100K at acquiring shares is way short of what SWG needs. It really needs Higgins to go - not for him to acquire more stock. Thankfully he only owns 9.7% so any deal cannot be waylaid by him unless he 'concert parties'. As he is a Billy No mates so that will not happen. Just needs a buyer. £1.50 will do (for me) but I do not have much stock. | lightning rod
01/12/2022 16:18 | That's a decent confidence vote I'd say. | northwards
01/12/2022 15:52 | Nice to see, storm in a teacup....... | chrisdgb
01/12/2022 15:38 | Strong buy from the CEO Higgins. 101,500 shares at average 95.15p | lammylover
29/11/2022 19:22 | I agree with the disappointment with the results as already mentioned and like some others, sold a portion of my holding at the open. However, having reflected during the morning decided to buy the position back (fortunately at a slightly cheaper price - luck more than judgement). For this type of company, still profitable and without debt to be trading at just circa 1 x turnover is remarkably cheap. I agree with the £2 valuation, however we will only see that via a takeover unless the board start to reflect the potential over the next year or two. | bdbd11
29/11/2022 12:34 | What can I say I like water | whatisaname
29/11/2022 11:28 | Higgins seems a really decent bloke, though. CEO from most successful acquistion. Put money where mouth is, buying a lot at 92p lows last time around in October 22. If he says revenues and cash will be strong in 2h I am inclined to believe him. Very tempted to follow him, just can't decide whether to wait til presenation on friday lunchinme. | jimbren
29/11/2022 10:55 | I think everyone is now in agreement ref this share now? pretty rare on advfn i would guess | rmillaree
29/11/2022 10:35 | What happened to the Adj EPS of 8p to y/e March 2020? On lower revenues than f/c for March 2023. | jimbren
29/11/2022 09:29 | Agreed, everybody always seems to hype before the results, I think they will make a decent acquisition in the coming months, pound cost average for me..... | chrisdgb
29/11/2022 09:19 | Cenkos maintaines a valuation of 200p+.....and explains the reasons why.....they maintain guidance....over reaction means real value here..... | proman99
29/11/2022 09:06 | Higgins has a awkward presentation in few days. The thing i don't get is? They have 52 new customer wins. even without the FX issues, they would only have still matched last years figures? | igoe104
29/11/2022 09:05 | This company seems to be doing everything wrong - apparently hedging at or near the bottom for the pound/dollar so not getting the recovery - and the net margins are miserable. Best hope is probably a takeover and clear out of expensive management. There should be a viable business hidden underneath the pile. | boadicea
29/11/2022 09:03 | Even with taking an “adjusted EBITDA” approach they have broken even and cash has taken a battering so acquisitions are off the table for at least a year or there will be further dilution via placings. This means the model and strategy have changed to a fully organic growth model but they may struggle to deliver the margins to give shareholders a return using that approach , | 2lb
29/11/2022 08:29 | Cenkos comments. The interim accounts bear an unrealised FX charge which has led us to review our forecasts. This liability is now largely hedged and the recent strengthening of GBP/USD has reversed some of this loss. Net cash is lower due to the payment profile associated with a material contract won last year but this will unwind over the next two years. We see these items are speed humps and do not change our valuation of the stock. | igoe104
29/11/2022 08:17 | Agree rivaldo. I've done the same. Have a gander at Altitude Group. | northwards
29/11/2022 08:12 | Sold my relatively small holding as soon as I could this morning. SWG seem one of those companies prone to banana skins. Core trading isn't as rosy as I expected, and the FX loss is just poor planning with hedging only in place after the horse has bolted (or whatever the metaphor is). Cenkos have reduced their forecasts: this year - 2.4p EPS next year - 4.7p EPS which leaves the P/E looking expensive for some time to come. SWG will remain on my watch list - hopefully it will deliver for holders in H2, but without say contract win news the share price could drift for some time. | rivaldo
29/11/2022 08:07 | What an awful set of numbers. Takeover please.Higgins your time is up !! | irish boy
29/11/2022 08:04 | Does SWG invoice in dollars? | ianhamo
29/11/2022 08:00 | Worse than last year unfortunately . They might make full year like last time but unfortunately the world is in a worse place . Be amazed if we don’t see new lows. Depr | earwacks
29/11/2022 07:35 | Profits been hit sterling. Should start to improve now though. But in this market no excuses be tolerated Unfortunately.. | igoe104
29/11/2022 07:31 | It would seem that way. | northwards
