To put this win into context. It's potential value is equivalent to our current market cap.

Agree. And the shares are very tightly held so we could see a very strong move north now.

Fantastic stuff - the re-rate from here could be pretty significant.

Over £4m additional revenues per annum for likely the next 5 years - the market loves this kind of forward visibility:

Anything is possible. Shortage of auditors due to COVID is the favourite or waiting for that game changing contract to plop on the desk. They did say EBITDA would be the same as last year just before Christmas ( possibly on lower rev) IGP had a poor second half recently so not going to hold my breath. Many commentators still saying Cybersecurity is the best tech investment , especially on SWG's PE. Could be another couple of years before we see real value beginning to emerge here I suspect.

Last year's year end update was 22nd April, the year before on 2nd April (presumably early to do with the placing later that month), so this year's update could come any time soon.

Which comic do you read Lightening Rod? 'Placing at £4.00 2 years ago.' I presume you mean the one at £2.40 in which both Higgins and Williams bought a lot of shares. Thy have also maxed out their families ISAs and made substantial purchases around the £1.00 area. I dont know why the market has turned so negative on cybersecurity. EBITDA should be similar to last year when the share price hit £2.20 . Both Boris and Biden have been urging companies to bolster their internet security which is supposed to be a multi billion industry. Both SWG and IGP offer very specific services to high quality companies. They both have a very low share count and have seen their PE ratios drop by a half. Companies are not in the habit of releasing RNS just to boost share prices. They have financial calendars they tend to stick to. What happens with investors in-between results is not under their control. I'm sure its been another difficult year with the pandemic and war.

As the chair of SUS commented this morning on their results :
' In times scarred by the global pandemic, looming environmental disaster and now a war in Ukraine, anyone claiming to see the future with any certainty risks appearing a charlatan or a fool.
Hence, without possessing any supernatural powers of foresight, I am at least pleased to see that my prediction last year of "a return to S&U's habitual levels of success" in 2021 has indeed now come to pass…

https://masterinvestor.co.uk/equities/taking-a-bullish-small-cap-look-at-kape-mpe-elix-and-swg/Shearwater Group (LON:SWG) – new contract brings about the setting of a new Target PriceIn a few weeks we should be getting a Post Close Trading Update from this cybersecurity, advisory and managed security services.Late last week the group reported a significant $4.1m contract win from an existing financial services customer requiring a new zero-day attack prevention system.Analyst Simon Strong at Cenkos Securities is estimating that the current year, ending 31 March, will show £34.0m revenues (£31.8m) and a fractional loss of just £0.3m (£nil). After tax generation enables a guesstimate of 11.4p per share in earnings (10.4p) but no dividends. He goes for £37.4m this year of sales and a recovery to an adjusted pre-tax profit of £0.5m, worth 13.8p per share in earnings and again no dividend. In rating the group's shares as a 'buy' Strong suggests that they have a 'fair value of over 200p each.I have not covered myself in any glory, as yet, in having Profiled the company almost two Covid-19 years ago. However, I now seek to offer some recompense to readers – by suggesting that Shearwater Group shares, currently at 118p, are heading a great deal higher. My new Target Price is an easy 145p.

Did you buy any shares Squid? Or were you hoping your post persuaded a few more private investors to dump their shares at daft prices? If you didn't buy any cheap shares then why are you still hanging around here?

This is a different animal from a couple of years ago, the cyber security market is maturing better and products are in more demand. At this current level these represent tremendous value...

Thats why I've been adding...
