09/12/2021 11:27 | As often happens to me I just couldn't wait and bought 20k at.97p | hybrasil
09/12/2021 11:24 | It didn't make £2.4m Profit, it made £2.4m "adjusted EBITDA" - massive difference in terms of how SWG chooses to present its financial performance | 2lb
09/12/2021 10:56 | Market makers shaking them out at daft low prices. No doubt these cheap shares will be picked up by funds later.. For those who don't know - here's the financials: 23.8m shares in circulation at say 98p/share = £23.3m market capex. With £4.4m cash and no debt. Last year made £2.4m profit. p/e less than 8. H1 margins have improved, expect busier H2 to deliver on expectations - so approx. £30m annual turnover Seriously undervalued.... | lammylover
09/12/2021 10:36 | Adding to position here sub £1. Value will out. | frankandbeans
09/12/2021 10:33 | Just bought a few more at 97. No live quote to buy so suggests this is a MM shake. For what reason, we shall see. | northwards
09/12/2021 09:33 | sidam - Fear of making another dubious acquisition may be one of the factors holding the share price down! Otherwise I generally agree. Comparison with other companies in the sector would suggest the share price could be at least double the current value given higher confidence in the management. If concensus forecasts are achieved we could see a rapid recovery. | boadicea
09/12/2021 08:42 | I am new to this one and surprised at the recent fall. I looked at it after seeing a recent research note and then listening to the results presentation. That did not appear very exciting but it did not have to be if consensus estimates are correct. Consensus has this year’s EPS at just over 11P and next year just under 14p with projected March 23 cash over £8m or 30% of market cap. On those numbers I would project a target of 160p. With the cash and cash flow, I would suggest that the company could make an acquisition(s) of up to £12m. If that were at a 20 PER it would add 2p to EPS and raise my target to closer to £2. It seems to me that either consensus numbers are way out or my interpretation is or both are. I hope not. Good luck to all holders. | sidam
09/12/2021 08:16 | I thought the same. | northwards
09/12/2021 08:04 | Over the years I have seen some company's shares trashed by strategic dumping for no obvious reason but shortly followed by a recommended offer. Presumably the object was to make a modest offer seem as generous as possible. A similar sequence of events here would not entirely surprise me. | boadicea
09/12/2021 07:49 | Dont think so Jammy - Statement released on 25th Nov was v confident. Just looks like someone selling 400,000 shares. See 25th Statement Phil Higgins, Chief Executive Officer of Shearwater Group PLC, commented: "We have seen both our divisions grow profits in the period under review with growth in our Software sales and a strong rebound in advisory business. The increasing quality of our earnings coupled with investment in our subsidiaries, enabled by our strong cash position, gives us confidence in the outcome for the full year, especially with c.50% of second half revenues identified." | imjustdandy
09/12/2021 07:20 | Loss of contract?? | jammytass
08/12/2021 18:46 | Looks like Williams has taken 185,000 of the 400,000 and the balance has been cleared today. Probably Killick and co again. Could rise sharply from here | imjustdandy
08/12/2021 18:07 | Hopefully its another Director who has bought the 400k block - time will tell? | lammylover
08/12/2021 17:27 | Wonder if that 400,000 has found a home. | northwards
08/12/2021 16:21 | Seems too cheap Had 27.5k | jbravo2
08/12/2021 14:50 | I'm wandering if the 235k block sold at 95p yesterday (and slipped back into level 2 after the close) was actually a MM taking these cheaply? - but now is the iceberg that needs clearing before price can move back over 100p? Needs more buyers around 98.5p to clear... There seems to be plenty of demand for shares at 95p - there's been 4-5 MMs offering to buy at this price all day... | lammylover
08/12/2021 14:41 | Maybe you're right - lots of apparent buys but share price fallen heavily so could well be an overhang. If we get to sub 95 I will top up given that the director bought a shedload at that price.Knowing how illiquid this share can be if you want to sell I suspect that director had his seller over a barrel and could almost name his price.Further directors buys at this level would be most welcome as an indicator of faith in the company. | husbod
08/12/2021 12:51 | Just bought. | northwards
08/12/2021 12:30 | awful............... | chrisdgb
08/12/2021 12:20 | Have been tempted here Beginning to look like value Think they could fall a tad more Will buy at 92p | hybrasil
08/12/2021 08:14 | Must be an institutional seller ... | northwards
08/12/2021 08:10 | 95p? That's outrageous. How? Doesn't inspire confidence at all. Might make one conclude the company is run by shysters. | spawny100
08/12/2021 07:52 | Nice buy by Chairman. 185k at 95p. Now holds 6.8% of company. Lets hope the other 235k block shifted at 95p has gone to another board member.. | lammylover
08/12/2021 07:47 | I think there a large sell well below market price. Gotta be... Someone wanted to sell... the company broker asked around if anyone was interested and David Williams stepped up... share price would have tanked even further if the load went to MMs. There's nothing to say the share price still won't tank, markets often like to price shares below whatever last price was paid by a director! | outlawinvestor |
