10/6/2020 17:31 | The rns today probably shouldnt have been released until after the deal as been concluded , you can only say it is very close to being finalised | chestnuts
10/6/2020 16:43 | Not sure how accurate the Shanta website figures are. Under the AIM rules, "Changes to the holding of a significant shareholder above 3% (excluding treasury shares) which increase or decrease such holding through any single percentage." have to be disclosed by RNS. Hence why they disclosed the dip below 5%. It would mean that all transactions which cumulatively are more than 7.9m shares would need an RNS and we have not had one. Thus, they could never have owned 57m shares at the end of 2019. | lowtrawler
10/6/2020 16:41 | Until the Barrick/Kenya deal completes......shoul | plentymorefish
10/6/2020 16:40 | How many more days can MM keep the share price sideways? | 338
10/6/2020 14:48 | well that explains the large number of shares that hit the market recently. | redhill
10/6/2020 13:24 | According to Shanta's website they had over 57m shares at the end of 2019 so they have clearly sold some this year. As have R&M. Have to assume that they are continuing to do so and this would fit with the share price activity. | jc2706
10/6/2020 12:12 | Just checked about those 'additional' 6,555,926 shares and they were announced in an RNS on 31/1/20 as 'Performance Pay' for Senior Management......well done for spotting, so not a reduction at all......atb | plentymorefish
10/6/2020 12:04 | Ah, ok Lowtrawler.....atten | plentymorefish
10/6/2020 11:55 | It looks to me that they haven't actually changed their shareholding. on 30 August last year, SHG said they had 787,375,086 shares in isuue and the holding of 39,580,556 would have represented 5.03% at that time. The RNS says there are now 793,931,012 shares in issue and so the percent holding is 4.99%. I take it 6,555,926 shares have been issued in the last week although I haven't seen anything to explain it? | lowtrawler
10/6/2020 11:33 | Any significance in them reducing by a very modest amount to just under 5%?…. | plentymorefish
10/6/2020 11:27 | That'll do then....cheers | plentymorefish
10/6/2020 11:26 | 2020 fingers crossed. | investor73

10/6/2020 11:05 | The deal with Barricks should be concluded in June and work on Singida mine development started probably in July. We should be clear of hedges by the end of July too. These are the things indicated by the management according to my understanding from their statements. If all goes to plan, the share price could be 30p or more by the end of August hopefully imo. 10/6/2020 09:01 | Singida’s deep reserve confirmed by Micromine. hxxps://www.australi | investor73
09/6/2020 22:15 | Redhill Its such a little amount of money for Barrick why would they bother, also they would have to declare it when they sign the contract. | chestnuts
09/6/2020 18:22 | Anyone consider that Barrick are selling in advance of this transaction. | redhill
