Heres a thought, if shanta gets $20m from the ipo or other ways ie a farm in for Sinq they wont need all the money straight away , they could pay off most of the hedge and as the yr goes on they can repay the cost of the hedge . As gold is only going to go one way over the next few yrs. And if the VAT is sorted sooner than later Shanta will be in a very strong position.

The deal as not gone through for Barrick as yet so if the share price doubled they would only get 3% but realisticaly the deal must be very close to be going through as the share price is some how hanging around 11.5p

Bought more SHG today so I am fully locked & loaded before the next step up happens, we had be plodding on between 11 to 12p far too long but this has the potential to move quick in my opinion.

Not quite accurate though. Barrick's shareholding is far from being the largest shareholder.That honour goes to Odey asset management.
